This one is the sequel to "Counterparting Your Counterpart" (you can find a link below the Intro), but it could be read on its own - there are only slight references to the first book, and basically, all you need to know is that Tsukki and Kuroo used to date in highschool. I did my best to explain what and why here, so this book can stand on its own feet pretty well.
Unlike the first book, though, this one contains a lot of mature content and a lot more angst, so - be warned.
A chapter marked [TW] contains: a TRIGGER WARNING. I thought it was self-explanatory, but it obviously isn't.
A chapter marked 🔞 contains: graphic depiction of SEX or VIOLENCE, or both. I thought this was self-explanatory too, but it obviously isn't.

I did my best to stay true to Japanese culture and traditions, as this is the setting of the franchise, but I guess there will be some foreign elements too, as I am - sadly! - not Japanese myself. Some of the content will be non-canon and OOC too, as I still have not watched Haikyuu!!, lol!
I tried my best to do my research, though. I hope you will like my book. Or books. I really like the KuroTsuki ship - it's a sexy ship, and a relationship between equals, truly. My Kei is a little broken in this one, but... yeah, that's my life now.
Forgive me.

I have a couple of Original Characters here, as do most of my books, but I needed them to propel the plot on, and I thought it would be boring to just use characters from the anime/manga - there are too many books out there that do that all the time.
As I am notoriously bad with names - the female names were all taken from the "Sailor Moon" franchise, as I am a huge fan, have been for almost 30 years now. Maybe you will recognize those, if you are a fellow-fan. I wanted to give credit, although the names are all pretty popular female Japanese names.
If you find any discrepancies in terms of cultural inaccuracies - do let me know in the comments. I will be only happy to fix those. You have absolutely no idea how much I love the Japanese culture.
That's it, enjoy!

P.S:
The art in this book was taken from one of my favorite places on the internet - a Facebook fan page of Haikyuu!! that is collecting the cutest art from the web, and posting it for us mere mortals to enjoy. None of the art is mine - I have absolutely no talent, as you will soon see. Otherwise, the snaps were taken from the Haikyuu!! vids on YouTube I have also posted, strewn among the chapters.
