"You will see thousands of them like here. Beware of them. Try to limit your conversation with them as short as possible."

I nodded my head and again turned towards the stage where the host was now presenting a tribute award to one of the business man present here.

As the time passed by, we both sat quietly. We didn't even talk to each other rather we chose to reply to small questions that were thrown in our way by yet some other nosy women who were adamant to know about our married life. This time Shah Zain does all the talking and told me to sit quiet. I didn't protest because I know that he can handle them better than me.

I am new here and I don't know what they all think off me. Shah Zain answered them really easily and cleared all their doubts without even sharing anything personal. He must be have question by those questions alot since he knew when or how to answer each particular question. It was almost the end of the function and I was pretty relieved that it went smoothly.

Shah Zain was called upon for a group picture which includes all the young businessmen present here. He looked hesitant and turned to me. I remained quiet not understanding why he was looking at me. Finally, he asked

"Will you be ok?"

I merely nodded my head. I assured him

"You can go. I'm sitting just here."

He nodded but before standing up and buttoned his coat. He once again looked at me before saying

"This will take only five minutes."

I nodded my head and he went for the stage. The stage was not that far away. But one couldn't see someone sitting as far as me. It was at a maximum distance. I was busy admiring the decorations of the room when a strange yet familiar voice greeted my ears

"My my!! Who am I seeing here?"

I turned around in confusion but my eyes widened when I saw the person standing infront of me

"Mr. Barzan!"

He chuckled before muttering

"Glad you atleast remember my name."

I don't know but I don't like his way of talking to me. I also don't like the way he stares at me. It's like he wants to see the inner me and trust me, it's the most disgusting thing to be notice. He roamed his eyes around my figure making me clench my fists.

I had always maintained my distance from him even when I was working for him. He used to invade my personal space and his dark voice made me nervous. I had often found him stealing glances at me when I was working for him. He is just not a green flag to me.

His voice brought me out of my trance

"Where is your husband dearest?"

I chose not to answer that question. His presence was enough making me nervous and I don't want to stand long in his presence. So I excused myself

"Excuse me. I need to go."

I turned on my heels to leave but his hand got wrapped around my wrist stilling my movements. I immediately stiffened and reacted

"Leave my hand."

His just chuckled darkly before saying

"Not easily."

His voice was giving me goosebumps. His hold was tight and I was trying my best to free myself. His hold got tightened causing me to wince. Ya Allah! Please save me. I looked around for Shah Zain but since I already told you, he can't see me and now I can also not find him anywhere. Tears blurred my vision but I refused to cry. Mr. Barzan smiled darkly before speaking
