Let's dive right in!

At The Police Station…

“I'm going to ask one more time ladies. How did the body get into your apartment?” Inspector Nwachukwu screamed. Give the ladies, few minutes and they would shit in their pants. They were frightened but they didn't have the boldness to speak out. Surprisingly, Ada was the first to talk.

“Inspector Nwachukwu abi na Nwanma be your name, we don tell you. We no know how the body take enter our house.” Ada fumed, eyeing him. Both ladies were baffled at Ada's outburst, she wasn't one that acted impulsively. She was the reasonable one among the trio. “Ha! I can see that you've grown wings unexpectedly.” He snarled.

“Abeg abeg, no try that nonsense for me. I wan ask one question, you get evidence?” Ada retorted. Mercy made a move to say something but she was pinched on the knee by Bisi; an indication that she should shut up and let everything play out. It's seemed Ada had a plan;fire him back with his questions.

“The body found in your room is enough evidence. There's no two ways about it.” He smirked, folding his hands. Inspector Nwachukwu; the most ruthless police officer to grace this earth. No one dares crosses his path and goes scot free. At that moment, he had marked Ada's face. To him, she was the number one suspect.

“That's a big lie. A murder weapon wasn't found so you can't point fingers at us. Besides, we're victims too. Am I right?” She inquired, looking at her friends. Bisi and Mercy had no idea what was going on so they both nodded. Letting off a huge sigh, Inspector Nwachukwu stood up and approached her. He examined her carefully. “How did you get a black eye?”

It didn't take long for Mercy to burst into laughter; the annoying one that makes the other party look like an ode. Nwachukwu could be seen boiling from anger, if it was up to him he'd have slapped her. “If you know how she get this black eye ehn, you go pity for am. Na for street fight oo.” She bellowed slapping him on the shoulders.

Inspector Nwachukwu was done with them, he decided to bring in a little visitor; Hakeem's wife. Few seconds later, a knock sounded from the door. “Come in.” He answered. Dressed to perfection and coated with the sweet scent of the rose flower, Mrs Amina Salaam stepped into the room daintily. “I know these girls.” She gushed.

“Ma, we didn't kill your husband oo.” Mercy wailed. “I know these girls from the boutique I buy my clothes, they are staffs. Perhaps, they've seen my husband and planned to kill him.” She cried. The girls exclaimed,“We've never seen your husband ma. Please, help us.” “Inspector can I have a minute with them.” Amina requested.

Shutting the door behind him, the ladies rushed out, “Why are you doing this to us ma, you know very well we didn't kill him.” Amina raised her eyebrows and looked at her manicured nails. Picking out the imaginary dirt from her fingers, she cleared her throat.

“I don't care who killed him or not.” She scoffed. “So why are you doing this if your husband's death doesn't bother you?” Bisi snarled, narrowing her eyes at her. There seemed to be a silent battle between both females; one we would find out later.

“You girls have to pay for the bag and my husband's death.”
