Saturday Morning. Day 14 of Hanahaki.
It's the sports festival for the second-year students, they have been preparing for this for far tooling and are currently in the lockers. Deku's more concerned about himself, he hasn't been cured of Hanahaki and the only reason he's competing is because if he doesn't someone will notice and it can damage UA's reputation on their protection of students which he doesn't want. It was hell for UA when Bakugo died, he doesn't want that to happen again. He's bought cough drops to stop coughing but it still hurts and he can't fully stop it. He's just in a corner waiting for the festival to begin
Eijiro Kirishima: About time
Denki Kaminari: This should be fun
Momo Yayyorozu: Everyone's waiting, this is most likely the most anticipated sports festival of all time
Minoru Mineta: that's a lot of pressure
Shoto Todoroki: This year we may do better, especially with a better understanding of what we can do
Ochako Uraraka: And also since you're using your fire power more
Harumi Moon: Someone's getting toasted aren't they
Izuku Midoriya: *silent cough* probably
Mina Ashido: I don't see how that ain't happening
Tenya Iida: Is everyone ready to walk out there and give it your all
Most of 2A: YEAH!
Tsuyu Asui: I know I am *ribbit*
Izuku Midoriya: Yeah
Eijiro Kirishima: Let's go!
Denki Kaminari: Me too! WOO!
Harumi Moon: I mean I probably won't get far but I'm excited
Ochako Uraraka: I'm sure you won't be eliminated first eliminated
Harumi Moon: I'd be lucky
Hanta Sero: We haven't seen much of what you can do
Harumi Moon: There isn't much, all I can do is control shadows
Fumikage Tokoyami: You underestimate your own power, shadows can be very deadly whether it's bright or dark
Harumi Moon: I guess
Denki Kaminari: and I'm sure you'll do better than a lot of people outside the class
Harumi Moon: Probably
Izuku Midoriya: *swallows a cough drop without anyone noticing and then drinks water* (This should stop hanahaki for now)
Denki Kaminari: when will this get started
Eijiro Kirishima: Whenever they call us-
Shota Aizawa: *walks in* Get ready now
Eijiro Kirishima: Well I guess we're ready now
Ochako Uraraka: Well I think we're all ready, but I'm still feeling a bit tired, didn't get much sleep
Tenya Iida: That usually means someone was thinking of you
Ochako Uraraka: Who could of been thinking of me in the middle of the night
Izuku Midoriya: ... maybe your parents?
Ocahako Uraraka: Probally
Minoru Mineta: Maybe someone was thinking of you in other ways
Izuku Midoriya ... *silent cough* ...
Kyoka Jiro: Can you just shut up for the remainder of the festival
