    Part - 15 A Beast made of Steel

    Daniel stared in awe at the giant ships emerging from the mist, 
    Instantly, a chorus of shouting and near panic took over the ship, 


    "GET AMMO KID!" Hans shouted at the top of his lungs. 

    The gunnery officers were barking orders for the lined up batteries of 10.5 cm guns.
    A Chorus of fire echoed out as the first shots of the engagement were fired. 

    The main guns were still reloading, so all of the other guns kicked into action as fast as possible. 

    The 5.9 inch secondary guns opened fire on the siren vessels.

    *POOOM! 
    *POOOM! 
    *POOOOM!
    The secondary guns opened up, spewing Panzergrenate L/3,7 shells at the alien ships. 
    They entered the ship, but these ships were much bigger than the one enemy ship before, causing the AP shells to do little overall damage. 
    "KID! SHELLS!" Hans yelled from behind him, 
    Only now had Daniel realized that he was staring at the alien ships 
    The other 10.5 cm guns started to shoot. 
    *B-B-BOOOOOM! 
    *B-BOOOOM! 
    The overall chorus began to be more deafening as the song of gunfire began to be joined by lasers from the enemy ships. 
    Daniel shook his head and ran as fast as he could towards the nearest ammo stockpile. 
    He grabbed as much shells as he could and ran as fast as possible back across the deck to his gun. 


    But just as he was, a door on the superstructure opened, right in front of his path. 
    He swerved as fast as he could to dodge it.
    But then someone came out of the door, and he slammed straight into whoever it was. 
    Sprenggrenate L/4,4 shells fell out of his hands, rolling across the deck where he tripped over. 
    The armed and extremely dangerous high explosive shells, which were filled to the brim with gunpowder, seemed to be ready to explode at any moment.
    Daniel's hands shook as he reached to grab them, only when he saw his hand was when he realized that his skin was pale white, presumably with fear. 
    He looked up at who he ran into, 
    "S-sorry sir I didn't mean-"
