As you continued to walk with the Mario brothers and toad you started asking them questions as well. Mario was the one to answer most of them, Luigi would answer a couple when he felt like it. Toad just followed you guys as you made your way through the castle.

Mario walked over to a hall way where their was a big door, you looked at it in awe. "What's this room?" You asked him, he smiled at you. "It's a special meeting room for talking about important events" he tells you as he knocks on the door.

You nod and turn towards the door, waiting for it to open. Mario turns back over to you, "when I first got here I went straight to this door and the princess walked out" "that's how we met" "I was in a hurry because the toads were chasing me" he informs you, chuckling softly. Toad nods to this, you smile at him and laugh slightly.

The door then opens and on the other side is what you expected, a room full of the mushroom people but one stood out. She was human! She wore a pink dress and had pretty blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes to match too.

She wore a crown on top of her head, she smiled kindly over to you and the others. She then walked closer, "oh! Mario, Luigi, toad" "we just finished talking in here, what's up?" She asked them all curiously.

The three of them bowed and so you quickly did the same. "Princess, this is Y/N" "they have arrived from Brooklyn, our home" "they wanted to see you" Mario tells her, smiling kindly at her. She smiled back at him, a loving look in her eyes. You stopped bowing and stood straight in front of her.

"Ah, I see" "nice to meet you, Y/N" "I am princess peach" she greets you, shaking your hand happily. You smile and shake her hand back, "nice to meet you, as well" "so your the princess of this place?" You asked her curiously.

She smiled softly and nodded, letting go of your hand. "Mhm, ever since I came of age" she tells you, walking out of the door way to the meeting room. Mario, Luigi and toad follow after her and so you quickly do the same.

You walk on one side of her while Mario does another, Luigi and toad behind. "How exactly did you start ruling over them? Your human aren't you?" You asked her, tilting her head slightly. "I grew up here, all I remember was arriving from one of those green tunnels" "then the toads found me and took care of me" "When I became of age, they made me their princess" she told you, as you guys continued to walk.

You frowned slightly at her story, "so, you don't remember anything about your home?" You asked her sadly, she shook her head. "No, but it's okay" "I live in a castle! I'm sure wherever I came from wasn't that cool" she said chuckling softly, Mario laughed a little at that as well.

You smiled a little again, you could tell these two were close friends. "How long have you known the brothers?" You ask her, looking over at Mario then at Luigi. She smiled brighter, "it's been about a month since they arrived here" "mario was who I met first thanks to toad" "his brother, I only met after we saved him" she said, smiling over at mario.

Your eyes widened slightly and you tilted your head again. "Saved him?" You questioned, looking at her confused. "Oh yes, it's a bit of a long story" she said softly, as she walked over to one of her many balcony's. She sat down at a chair, and motioned for you to do the same.

You did so, sitting down in the chair across from her. She turned towards mario and the others. "How about you guys go and make a room for our guest?" She suggested to which mario nodded quickly. "Of course, princess" he said bowing then walking away, grabbing his brothers hand, toad bowed at her then followed them.

You chuckled slightly then turned back over to peach. "So, yeah mario and Luigi both were sucked into the green tunnels like you" "sadly, they didn't end up together" "mario and Luigi were separated, mario went to the mushroom kingdom, which is where we are now" "and Luigi...he went to the dark lands" she tells you, whispering dark lands for some reason.

You tilt your head at her, "dark lands?" You question, your eyes sparkle slightly in curiosity and wonder. She nods her head, "yes, the dark lands were ruled by bowser and was a very scary and dangerous place" she tells you, like a ghost story. You get even more curious about it after hearing that, "who's bowser?" You asked her, she seemed to tense up a little.

"Bowser was the king of the Koopas" "he lived in a castle surrounded by lava in the dark lands" "he's an absolute monster!" She exclaimed her eyes widened, you looked at her surprised. "A monster?" You questioned curiously, though their was some excitement in your tone.

She nodded quickly, "yes and he captured the magic star" "a power weapon that when you touch it, you become invincible!" She exclaimed, you looked at her in wonder. "Wow, that's crazy" you said shock and excitement in your tone. "Yes, anyways, Luigi was sent to the dark lands and eventually was kidnapped by bowser" "him and many others" she tells you, you start to picture all this in your mind and you can't get enough.

"Wow...so what happened then?" You asked her curiously. She explains to you about the quest her, mario and toad had to take. She told you about the fight with donkey Kong and the brawl on rainbow road. She then tells you how she had to be brave when bowser tried to marry her. She told you that Luigi was saved and Mario and him both used the star to defeat him.

"Then, I fed him one of those shrinking mushrooms!" She exclaimed proudly, you looked at her with widened eyes. "Really? What happened then?" You asked her very eager to now how this ends. "Toad then placed him in a jar and that's where he's been since then" she tells him, chuckling slightly. You look at her surprised, "he's Just in some jar?" You asked her curiously.

"Yeah and also inside a cage, he's in the castle actually" she tells you, your eyes widened slightly. "We have guards guarding his room at all times" "to make sure he doesn't escape! Though even if he did, he's so small he would probably be eaten" she said chuckling softly.

You furrowed your eyebrows slightly, looking at her questioningly. She saw her look and smiled playfully, "don't worry! He's not getting out, anyways it's getting late" she told you, standing up from her chair and walking out of the balcony. You stood up and followed her out.

She turned to you and smiled, "I believe the guest room they set up is on the right" she told you, pointing down a long hall way. You nodded to her and smiled kindly, "thanks!" You exclaimed waving her a goodnight, she waved back, walking to her room.

You walked down the long hallway, each door was closed but you could tell who slept where. One room had mostly white but also some red, it had a T on it, another was almost all red and had an M. The last one next to yours was green and had an L on it. You knew exactly who's room was who's and you smiled at that.

You walked up to your room which was F/C (favorite color) you smiled and opened the door. Though, when you looked down the hall again, you couldn't help but notice a huge door that had two toad guards who were falling asleep standing by it. You were curious to know what was on the other side but didn't want to be rude, you decided that you can discover it tomorrow and walk inside your room.

Inside your room, is a medium sized bed and on the dresser is a record player, you don't turn it on though. You just go to the closet where you take some pajamas and put them on, throwing your clothes away. You lay on your new bed and slowly start to fall asleep despite your excitement for what tomorrow in this strange world might bring.
