Summary: You weren't one to believe in reincarnation. You also weren't one to indulge yourself in fantasies of your favorite reads. It's a bit laughable that it ends up with you reincarnating in one of the most popular manga of all time.

Meeting a nameless character (who unfortunately is a part of Fairy Tail) that never existed and ended up being given his magic, you are suddenly forced to play a role in the guild.

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or any of its characters. Fairy Tail is the property of Hiro Mashima. This fanfiction is written purely for entertainment purposes and is not intended for profit. Please support the original work! English is not my first language, therefore, grammar and spelling issues within the story are to be expected.

You barely see anything when you realize you are alive once again.

Everything within your vision is a complete blur, and all you can hear is rain amidst the weird buzzes in your ears. Like any normal person after waking up, you try to stand up, only to feel your limbs aren't supporting you at all. Even sitting feels like a challenge with how uncooperative your body is.

Don't tell me that I'm dreaming right now? Despite how vivid all your senses are right now, you're still in a little bit of denial of what's happening to you right now.

"—I'm sorry [Name]! I really am!"

You can feel your ears start ringing at the voice crying out apologies at you, for whatever reason that voice seems to have. You know my name? You can't clearly see who it is with this terrible vision of yours. All you can know is a woman looming over you, covering you from the raindrops as you feel nudges here and there.

She's carrying me somewhere. You deduce. Despite being carried a bit too roughly to your liking, you found yourself not all that bothered by it, she seems like she's in a hurry with how fast her pace is going, after all. Maybe she doesn't want to stay out too long in the rain.

Her voice sounds unfamiliar to your ears, so why does she need to apologize to you? Is it because you were dead? You didn't die in the rain, so why does she sound so sorry for you? It's not like it's her fault. Death comes and goes, you didn't expect to die at the mere age of 20, but you never deny your death.

Why is she so keen on carrying your body? You didn't know. You aren't able to move your body even though you feel you are placed on something. Or maybe you aren't really dead? But that feels weird. You felt like you were dead at that time, every inch of your whole body hurt at that time. It's weird how that pain is immediately forgotten by you.

You don't know what's happening right now, or why she's apologizing, or how weird the situation is, but all you want to do now is go back to sleep. Maybe, you'll go back to your peaceful time in the afterlife.
