It was the family game night.
after Riley and Maya finished their window talk, Josh called Riley to the livingroom window.
emm, Riles, is maya making fun of me or something? i dont think that she could really like me, i mean, we havent seen in a long time, we barely know each other.- said josh.
i was wondering that the other day but i think that she actually likes you, uncle josh; i remembered that time, the second time you saw each other when maya and i just started first grade, well, you dont know this but that day you came, she was so sad because her daddy issues and she felt so lonely because all the boys and girls in school were making fun of her saying she was old just because she liked bands like led zeppelin, rolling stones, pink floyd...
Yeah, i remember she had a lot of bands t-shirts. -josh said.
yes, the point is that that day you came you had your guitar with you and when you saw her with her t-shirt of ''the beatles'' you told her you just learned how to play ''here comes the sun'' and you played and she started to sing, i really think that you, without knowing, help her to have confidence.
josh stared at her for a few seconds while she was playing with auggie.
one more question- he said- what happens with her dad? what issues?
i cant tell you, she ll tell you when she wants to, its not so easy for her- said riley, Josh just nodded.
