"I can't accept this-" growl

Lumen tried to reject Aron giving him food, but, alas, his hunger has betrayed him.
"..." He silently accepted his food and started eating. He looked at Aron and Kael who were also eating. 'That means that the demon doesn't have food. Is this some silent form of protest? Do they see me as someone that can save them?-'

Then the angel heard the sound of boots clanking on the ground. Lles was getting up to go patrol the area, as he does.

They were in a forest. An extension of the one that Lles and Aron set up camp in before. This time, it was a little darker.

'An evil forest?' Nope.
By the way. Not a single word was uttered since the start.

Lles came back, as he does.
"Free to spend the night here."
"Awesome." Aron replied.

Lles dropped some sticks he found while 'patrolling', and went back and laid down.

Lumen took note of everything that happened in the very short time that he was awake. He became even more confused. Kael was already asleep next to a bag. Aron was just finishing cleaning up his equipment and Lles was in the middle, like a campfire.

'demon?????????'

"Oh, apparently, another city was attacked by an ominous figure again." Aron mentioned. "Big hassle."

"Is that so." Lles replied nonchalantly. "It's probably the reason I get a bad rep, huh."

Aron realized he has never met another spirit like Lles. Ever.
Before anything could happen, however, Aron began to doze off.

Lles looked at Aron one last time and got up, picked some of the wood and placed it where he was lying down. He set it on fire. He made a fire. Nothing else to say.

Lles looked around, and had eye contact with Lumen. Lumen, unsure what to make of this, readied his 'demon oneshotter' sword, which has proven ineffective against Lles's incorporeality once before.

"..." "..."

Lles reached in his back, and pulled out a sandwich. He threw the sandwich at Lumen, and laid down on the pile of wood nearby.

'what the hell was that? I don't know... If only I was stronger, I would have freed this demon already... If he IS a demon.' Lumen thought as he bit into the sandwich.
