After being stitched up I was stuck in the hospital room because I had to wait for the blood transfusion to be finished. Due to me not having my phone I had to either pray my mum would wake up to the phone call from the hospital or I'd have to get home some other way.

Looking around I then noticed the phone beside my bed, I quickly grabbed it and dialed in a familiar set of numbers.

"Hello, who is this?" I smiled at hearing the familiar voice.

"Hanako! You don't know how happy I am to hear your voice!"

"Well that's new, you okay?"

"Feeling fine but I'm stuck at hospital as I wait on this blood transfusion to end."

"You're at hospital, what happened?" I hummed before deciding to explain what happened. "Oh my All Might! I'm coming, right now!"

The line went dead but it wasn't long until I heard Hanako's voice again for she came bursting into the room and after talking for a while and me then pointing to where I was shot she practically yelled "All Might! Isn't that right where your heart is?" I nodded.

"Doctors said it would have pierced my heart if I used my quirk any later to force the bullet away from me." She let out a breath "At least you're okay, the what ifs don't matter... Does your mum know?" I shrugged.

"Probably not, she'll be sleeping peacefully with her baby Izuku at home." She gave me a sad smile.

"How she treats you is borderline neglectful, are you sure you don't want to just come home with me?" I hummed before shaking my head "Don't worry yourself with my problems, although I'd appreciate a lift home." She nodded.

"Wouldn't let you walk either way."

Upon arriving home I went over to the house phone, listening to the voicemail from the hospital before going to delete it "Is there something you don't want me to know?"

I looked over to see my mum stood staring at me with her arms crossed, I decided it was best to just step away "Listen to it if you want but I know what you'll say. Oh, well you have a quirk to protect yourself! Unlike Izuku, so let's just be thankful it wasn't him." She just went over and pressed the button to let the voicemail play again.

"Hello Inko Midoriya, this is Shizuoka Hospital concerning Y/n Midoriya, if you could just call us back once you get this."

I raised an eyebrow as mum turned to look at me "What happened?"

"I was shot." She nodded before looking at my chest and saying "Well... good job you did have a quirk. If you were like Izuku you'd more than likely be dead."

I hummed "Yeah, good job I'm not Izuku."

"What does that mean? Are you discriminating against him for not having a quirk, because if so, you want to consider yourself lucky to have one... If I could have chosen who got the quirk it'd be him because he deserves it so much more." I raised both my eyebrows "So you would be happy if I didn't have this quirk and died tonight! This is why I'm glad to have a quirk, because then I don't have you gravitating around me all the time!"

"Yeah, you'd hate that with all you get up to! Just go to your room. All Might! Why couldn't you be more appreciative, like Izuku?"

My boss used the incident as a story to get more customers, claiming that All Might was just coming to shop but ended up saving the day. The plan worked because night shifts practically became that of the day with customers flooding in, hoping to see All Might doing his shopping.

"Are you alright dear?" I looked up from the items I was scanning to the woman who was purchasing them. I nodded "Yes ma'am, why do you ask?"

"You look to be in some pain." I hummed, then carefully placing my hand on the centre of my chest "Just the healing process, I think! Thank you for asking" She nodded.

Once she was on her way I glanced down, looking under my apron I saw red. I looked up at the next customer "I am so sorry, do you mind waiting? I just need to do something real quick!"

They smiled and nodded "Go ahead and do whatever you need dear." I smiled and bowed my head, quickly rushing off to the staff room.

I took my apron off and unbuttoned my shirt to see the bandage around my chest bloody. Taking my shirt off completely I sat down to begin unwrapping the bandages, working as quickly as I could, stalling when I heard the door open. "You shouldn't be working." I looked up to see the actual hero from the night I was shot.

"You're not meant to be back here sir." He rolled his eyes, placed all the jelly pouches he had and came over, crouching in front of me "Let me look. As well, I'm a hero, I think I'm allowed to investigate places of suspicion." I raised an eyebrow as I slowly let go of the bandages he now held. "What's so suspicious about the staff room?"

"The only member of staff on tonight rushed in here." I rolled my eyes, he then continued to speak "You've pulled the stitches, probably from working when you shouldn't but who am I to let your boss kill you."

"What do you want me to do, leave the shop again? Just wrap it back up, I have to get back out there."

"You shouldn't have been out there to begin with." He began rummaging through the pouches on his utility belt "Lucky for you, I know how to stitch a bullet wound." I closed my eyes, wanting to calm down as to not lash out at him "That's great and all, I appreciate it, but I need to go back out there. I'll just be taking the stitches out again."

"Not going to happen."

"Have you not seen the amount of people out there, I can't just not do my job." He let out a breath.

"I don't care what you do with your life, but I'm not going to leave you to bleed out when it can be helped." I let out a breath, then gritting my teeth as he rubbed something on my wound "You fucker!"

"I'm actually a customer today." I glared at him and he chuckled slightly before saying "Right, keep still now."

After he stitched me back up he stood, grabbing my apron "What are you doing with that?"

"Going on shift, I don't like to have my time wasted." I went to try and get up whilst saying "I can't let you do that, you've already done more than enough for me." He hummed before placing a hand on my shoulder to prevent me from getting up "Don't make me tie you up. Just sit there and rest." I nodded and he walked towards the door, throwing the apron on over his head "Wait, what's your name?"

He looked over his shoulder "Eraserhead." I nodded and smiled.

"Thank you Eraserhead!" He nodded and left.
