Chapter Eleven

Y/Ns P.O.V

Mitsuki and Masaru had come to get me from the hospital as I had been discharged. They stood near my bed as the nurse went over things about my recovery. I looked over to Aizawa to see him listening in, I smiled and turned to the nurse “Can you make sure my teacher is well looked after? He's a real hero.” She smiled to me and nodded “Of course, we'll make sure he gets the best care.” I nodded “Thank you!”

She nodded “No problem, now that's you all set. Remember to go get healed by your school nurse at your allotted appointment times.” I nodded before bowing my head “I will, thank you!”

The nurse left and Mitsuki clapped her hands together “Let's get you out of here!” I smiled and helped them gather the cards and gifts they and Hanako had brought yesterday. I had already had the chance to change so Mitsuki just helped me get up from the bed, allowing me to position my crutch to where it was most comfortable.

Upon getting to the door I turned and raised my free arm, waving over to Aizawa. “Bye Mr Aizawa, get well soon!” He had his eyes closed but he raised one potted arm. I smiled and turned to follow after Mitsuki and Masaru. Mitsuki raised an eyebrow “You seem quite fond of him.” I hummed and smiled towards her “He saved my life, twice now... Technically three.” Mitsuki smirked whilst Masaru just looked over worried “Three times is quite the number of times for your life being at risk.”

I shrugged as best as I could with my crutch and joked “Comes with the territory of being a hero!” Mitsuki lightly slapped the back of my head “You better not go die on us!” I nodded.

As we got to the hospital doors I saw Izuku “Y/n, you've been discharged! Why didn't you call?” I signalled to Mitsuki and Masaru “I did call. I'm going to be staying with the Bakugo's for a while.” Masaru patted my back lightly as he smiled towards Izuku “I'll be coming around later to pick up some of her things. If you could pack some things for her, that would be great.” Mitsuki then nodded and followed up with “The quicker we can get Y/n settled in, the sooner we can celebrate!”

Izuku timidly asked “Celebrate what?”

Masaru smiled “Y/n's achievements. From getting into U.A. to fighting against those villains!” Izuku nodded before pointing behind him “I'll go and sort her stuff out.” Before any of us could even respond to him, he was rushing out of the hospital.

Looking down, I was again lightly smacked on the back of the head “You're doing the right thing, don't feel bad for them. You owe them nothing.” I looked to Mitsuki and offered a small smile “Thank you.” She gave one nod before practically yelling “What are we waiting for? Let's go!”

Masaru panicked slightly and said “Mitsuki, darling, we're in a hospital!”

Katsuki barged into the room I was staying in within the Bakugo home, which they had made very f/c*. “What the fuck are you yelling about? Some of us are trying to sleep!”

I turned to him, I could feel the tears streaming down my face. He huffed and stomped over “Move over you idiot.” I shuffled over and he plonked himself on the bed, roughly putting his arm around me and almost slamming my head into his chest “What got you in such a state, huh?” I wrapped my arms around him “I keep seeing those villains.”

He started to brush through my hair “I'll kill them, I'll kill every last one of them for hurting you. You hear me? They'll never get to hurt you again!” I nodded and sniffled “Thank you Katsu.” He hummed.

“You're welcome idiot, now get some sleep. You look awful.” I smiled and cuddled up to him more “Thank you.” He just grunted.

Walking into the classroom, everyone that had already arrived turned their head. Going over to my seat, Katsuki followed to dump my bag which he was carrying down on my desk. I looked up at him “Thank you.” Giving a brief nod he turned to go to his seat.

Ashido came bouncing over to me “You were so awesome back at the U.S.J!” I gave her a brief smile as she just grinned “Imagine how cool you would have been with a hero outfit to match!” I hummed. She then sat on my desk, kicking her legs about “How come you haven't had your hero outfit fixed?”

“Because I binned it and it wouldn't have provided any aid to my quirk.” She hummed before tapping at the side of her mouth, then pointing at me “You know what would be really cool? An outfit that showed off that bullet scar of yours! It'll scream, look at me, you can't kill me!”

I gave a half smile as I entertained the idea “Yeah... Shame that scars gone.”

“What?” I hummed.

“Yeah, that villain decayed right where that scar was, so it's gone.” She seemed to get even more excited “Then you can show off that! Come on, not even brick would survive that sort of quirk!” I let out a breath.

“I'd still want my hero costume to benefit me and my quirk.” She nodded quickly “You'd look bad ass, that's the benefit! Ain't nobody going to mess with you!” I raised an eyebrow “Villains attack heroes even with the most outrageous costume. Take almost naked Midnight back in the day, villains still fought her.” She hummed “Okay, well, what did you have in mind then?”

“There's not an awful lot that aids my quirk, the only use my costume could possibly have to help me is to provide me with some form of protection whilst not being chunky and heavy.” She nodded. I looked to her and asked “Does your hero costume benefit your quirk?”

“Nah! I mostly just designed it because I thought it'd look good, which it totally does. Oh! I do have holes in my shoes though, on purpose! It allows my acid to leave my shoes and let's me slide around. They're also safe from my acid, of course!” I nodded and questioned “Is the rest of your outfit safe from your acid or just your shoes?”

“I didn't specify to make it safe from my acid. I probably should have done that!” Her happy go lucky attitude, even when realising a mistake in her hero costume, kind of made me happy.
