Your eyes widened when you saw what inside the envelope, you looked at ran with disbelief in your eyes. "What the fuck. Are you kidding me?" You muttered.

Ran sighs. "Hindi ako nagbibiro. Totoo ‘yan, alam kong ako ang papa ni Himari. Hindi ko nasabi kasi alam kong hindi mo saakin ipapalapit ang anak ko." Ran continued.

You took a step away from ran before speaking. "You know... You know everything?"

Ran looked at you with desperation in his eyes. "I know everything, Alam ko ang lahat." He admitted.

"Why.. bakit Ran? Why are you doing this to me?!"You asked him

"Alam kong tarantado ako sa part na ‘yon but I swear Y/N.. I still love you! Mahal pa din kita after this years.  I still love you. You are still the one that I love." He said to you. You can't process what he's saying you.

"Fuck you Ran! You can't say to someone that you still love them after leaving them behind! you fucking left me 10 years ago para sumama sa ibang babae and yet you still had the audacity to say na you still love me? Fuck you!" You snap to him with tears flowing down to your cheeks.

"I have a reason, baby. Please, I have a reason why i did that, love. I’m sorry. Hindi ko gustong iwan ka." He tried to come closer to you pero lumayo ka agad sakanya.

"Don't you fucking dare to come closer to me, Haitani. I swear to satan." You coldly said. "Stop claiming Himari as your daughter kasi sa mata ng batas wala syang tatay. Ako ang nanay at tatay nya. You don't have any rights on my kid." You bluntly said.

"Baby... Please.."

"Ran, I know we don't have proper break up when we saw each other last time, but i will grab this opportunity, Let’s end our relationship here." You said bago maglakad palayo kay ran.

But before you left you heard him whispering something.

"I will win you back. I will fucking win you back. I won't let you and my daughter go."

After that you went back inside the hospital, you saw your cousin, Ichika and Manjiro standing outside the emergency area.

What happened why are you crying?" Ichika asked you, her tone if full of concern. "Did something happened? Anong ginawa ni Ran? Tarantadong yon? Tangina! Sasapakin ko mukha non!" She continued.

"He’s.." Hindi mo mabuo ng maayos ang sentence mo kasi you are breathing heavily. "He's the father of Himari." You mumbled.

Ichika's eyes widened when she heard what you said. "Are you kidding me? What the fuck?"

"No.. It’s just... Yung pinuntahan nating fertility center, sa bonten pala yon. He knew everything. Alam nyang anak nya si himari." You continued trying to hold back your tears.

"Oh god.. He knew all along?" She asked in disbelief.

But trust me he still loves you, and willing nyang gawin lahat para sainyo ng anak mo." Mikey said. "Hindi sa kumakampi ako sakanya but trust me couz. Trust my words." Manjiro continued.

"Family of Himari?" Agad ka namang lumapit sa doctor. "She's stable now, pwede nyo na sya puntahan sa kwarto nya." The doctor said nagpasalamat ka na lang sa doctor atsaka dumiretso sa kwarto ni himari.

As you opened the door, your eyes were immediately drawn to your sleeping little angel. With her peaceful expression, you couldn't help but study her features, noticing that she bore a striking resemblance to Ran. From her nose to her lips, and especially those beautiful purple eyes.

Feeling a wave of love wash over you, you approached her bed and took a seat beside her. Tenderly holding her tiny hand in yours, you whispered, "Hello, my sweet baby. Please don't ever scare Mommy like that again, okay?" Your heart melted as you gently caressed her hand and planted a soft kiss on it.

As much as you wished your daughter could experience the love and warmth of her father, you knew it wasn't a possibility. She had always expressed a longing to meet him, and it broke your heart that you couldn't grant her that wish. "I'm sorry, my love," you murmured, "I know you want to feel the love from your father, but Mommy is just so afraid of you getting hurt. I'm sorry if I'm being selfish."

With a heavy heart, you watched your little one sleep, silently wishing you could protect her from all the world's pain and hurt. But for now, all you could do was hold her hand and surround her with all the love you had to give.

You allowed her to sleep for some time, and soon after, Ichika and Mikey followed you. They volunteered to take turns in watching over Himari so you could go back to the house and get her belongings and clothes.

As soon as you opened the door to the house, you were immediately taken aback by the sight of Ran sitting on the couch. His appearance was disheveled, with bloodshot eyes and messy hair.

"How's Himari?" he asked, his voice shaky with worry. You looked at him, unsure of how to react, but managed to answer calmly. "She's fine. She's stable now," you replied, making your way towards the stairs to retrieve Himari's things.

Just as you were about to ascend the stairs, Ran's voice stopped you in your tracks. "I'm not asking for forgiveness," he said, his tone laced with desperation, "but please, please let me show my love and care for Himari. I know how it feels to grow up without a father, and I don't want my child to feel that way."

His plea tugged at your heartstrings, and for a moment, you were unsure of how to respond. Despite everything that had happened, you knew that Ran still loved his daughter deeply. The question was whether or not you could trust him to be a responsible and caring father.

As you stood there, lost in thought, you couldn't help but wonder what the right thing to do was. Should you give Ran a chance to prove himself, or was it safer to keep him at arm's length? The decision weighed heavily on your mind as you made your way up the stairs, unsure of what the future held for you and your family.
