Chapter 9

Lia POV

For a first mission this was quite easy for people of our skill set I thought as Yeji and Soobin explained to us our mission.

" Rank C Exterminate and Steal mission. We have to sneak into an apartment, steal an important chip and kill everybody on board" Yeji said. I could tell from the look on her face that she also found it easy. What can I say I know my wife

Yeonjun yawned, signaling that he was bored. Soobin shot him a glare but he just winked back at him. " But, there is a twist. Chaeryeong and Taehyun you guys can not communicate with your team members meaning Chaeryeong will be the hacker for TXT and Taehyun the hacker for ITZY'' Soobin getting wide eyed looks from the two hackers

" But, I have never worked with anybody from another team" Chae whined. Yuna patted her shoulder and said " You'll be fine unnie"

With that the two leaders went back to their seats as the 2 tacticians got up to explain the plan of the mission. I have to give it to him Taehyun was really smart so I did not mind him being our hacker I just hoped that Chae would be alright

" Lia unnie and Kai, you guys will be positioned on rooftops near the building we will be breaking in. There will be 30 guards positioned on the building. Unnie you will be on the west of the building and you Kai on the east. You each have to kill 15 guards and make it as fast as possible so they don't have time to contact back up" Chae explained

" Ryujin noona and Soobin hyung, you guys will steal the chip which is going to be located on the 5th floor 2nd room on your left. Kill anybody you come across and be careful to not activate any alarms. They are lasers protecting the chip and the case which it is located is weigh sensitive"  Taehyun said

" Yeonjun and Beomgyu oppa and Yeji unnie and Yuna. You guys just get to kill. Beomgyu oppa you will take the ground floor where there are approximately 20 guards. Yuna, you will take the first floor where there are about 20 guards. Yeji unnie you will take the second floor where there are about 25 guards and Yeonjun oppa the 3rd floor where there are about 25 guards as well. Normally the 4th floor only has 5 guards but they will be better trained then the ones at the lower floors. The first person to finish may go confront those 5 guards or Ryu unnie and Soobin oppa if you come across them go for the kill" Chae continued

" We will tell you where to go and cover your footprints digitally. Beware if there are cameras everywhere. Do not move till we tell you, you can move. We leave at 2 AM so be ready by 1:30 AM" Taehyun finished the meeting

" It's only 9pm so we have time. Hey cub, do you want to go dye your hair with me?" Yeonjun said while getting up and stretching. I still wonder why he called Yuna 'cub' but she did not seem to mind so I let it be

Yuna said " sure why not oppa" and got up and left with Yeonjun. She seemed relaxed with him which is different from her usual cold demeanor to strangers. But, I guess we were not strangers to each other anymore

" Don't be late!" Yeji yelled as they left the room. " Stop nagging fury. We will be on time" Yeonjun answered before exiting the room with Yuna behind him. Fury. Who the fuck was fury? This guy and his nicknames. Why haven't I gotten one yet? Everybody left one by one to get ready and I was the last to leave. Except for Soobin who was left behind working on his computer.

" Aren't you coming?" I asked as I turned around to look at him. He smiled and said " Go ahead. I have some things to do". I nodded and left. His smile was so cute I think I could just melt. He had dimples as well. I was actually worried a bit about him. He did not seem to sleep much and when he fell asleep in my room he started whispering the name Arin in his sleep and shaking as if he was having a nightmare
