Chapter 14: Surprises in the Mighty Night

Takashi: "What was it?"

Nosora: "It's hard to put into words, but ever since grandpa came and i could sense the curse of our bloodline..." He sipped the glass until it was empty to relief himself, putting it besides the needle after "...lets just say, there's something absolutely wrong with this whole war...and not just because it is a Holy Grail War"

Takashi stopped to think of his words, analyzing the Holy Grail War up until that point. She too felt something was wrong with it, something didn't quite fit in...or something was missing

Takashi: Come to think of it...none of us knows where the Holy Grail is at...not even our Servants, Seiki certainly never told me

Nosora: "Can i ask you something?" He brought Takashi back from her thoughts, giving him a nod to comply with his request "What are your plans for the night? I know last night was peaceful, but that can't happen twice in a row?"

Takashi: "We were planning to take down Berserker to end him once and for all...that way we can resume our war without worrying for that beast. And i wanted to ask if you had something that could help us locate him or draw him out" Answered Takashi going back to what she really came to ask, placing her hands behind her back

Nosora instead of answering, nodded his head and handed the sword handle to her

Nosora: "Then Takashi...use this when you feel like you need it, you'll probably know when the time comes so good luck with it"

Takashi: "Wha- but what am i supposed to do with this?" Said Takashi a bit surprised by being handed one of his Black Keys, looking at it with confusion

Nosora: "You'll know when you need to use it. Stay close to Daniel, good luck" Not saying a further word or waiting for her to ask anything, he headed towards the door at the side of the counter to leave

Takashi: "Nosora..." Takashi looked down to the nail, analyzing it trying to see what it was for

Nosora: "Oh, one last thing" She raised her head to look at him, seeing him standing on the doorframe with the door open "...make it through and don't die"

The door closed and he disappeared into the other side, Takashi let a smile show on her face as she stared at the handle on her hands, nodding her head in determination

Takashi: I'll win this for him...definitely!

Timeskip

Thursday / Park / Night

Takashi waited while sitting over a bench for the others to come, hoping that they had better luck finding Berserker's parade to ambush him and get that done with

Takashi: "Where is everyone..."

Caster: "We're just arriving" As Takashi wondered outloud, Kain materialized sitting at her side with a small blade in his hands, almost looking like a knife. Daniel walked towards them from the other side of the park, taking his time to arrive

Takashi: "Oh hey! Where's Liv and Daiki?"

Daniel: "I was hoping you knew, i haven't seen them in all day...and even Archer left the house" Replied the Master of Caster catching up with them, crossing his arms

Takashi: "So Seiki's not getting better soon huh..."

Daniel: "Not for tonight, but lets ask them to continue later"

Caster: "Rider's Spirit Core isn't damaged, but her magical energy simply feels odd...whatever Assassin used to control her was some kind of curse specifically meant to affect Divine Spirits, however you broke through it is the weird thing"
