Chapter 1: An Unexpected Meeting

Thursday - May 9 / Nanashi's doll store / Dawn

The store had been opened after a crazy night at Nanashi's house, he was still processing everything that happened the night before that, though it didn't get him shocked enough to stop him from his usual morning routine. Once the shop was opened, he got behind the counter and laid his head against his arm, sighing in relaxation

Nanashi:"First a monster attacks us and now he appears..." Reflecting on everything from last night, his sight remained locked onto the door to see for any client that might come that day, although his thoughts remained in the past which would probably stall his job for a moment

Kazuki:"My true name, is Kazuki-No-Mikoto"

Nanashi: Kazuki-No-Mikoto was a legend in my family, the only person in all our bloodline that had his own story and unique traits against a disease that has been haunting us since generations ago...even if i didn't believe he existed...he's right infront of me

Those thoughts ran through his head as he was lifted up by the Lancer, despite the differences in height, Kazuki easily helped Nanashi up

Nanashi:"You're...Kazuki-No-Mikoto? The Spear of the North Star?" Wondered the surprised doll maker, letting go of the Servant's hand to clean the dust off his clothes

Kazuki:"That's me, didn't expect to summon me? The Throne of Heroes has it's surprises even for our family" A carefree smile crossed his face while he placed his hands over his hips

Nanashi:"Throne of Heroes? What's that?" Wondered curiously Nanashi, unaware of what Kazuki spoke about

Kazuki:"Figured that much out...seems our bloodline is still not knowledgeable of the Grail Wars, or they just didn't tell you...to be fair i only know of it since i was summoned as a Servant, can't blame you kid"

Instead of bothering to explain, Kazuki appeared and pointed his spear to Nanashi's hand, making him look at it and see the red tattoo that now laid over it

Nanashi:"Woah! What's-!?"

Kazuki:"That's a Command Spell, i'll explain more about it later- actually i can lead you to the overseer so he can tell you about this with more detail, sounds good?" It only managed to confuse Nanashi more the more Kazuki spoke, an overseer? Command Spells? Everything seemed new to the young man

Nanashi:"I...what?"

Kazuki:"But for now i'm sure you know this much: I am Kazuki-No-Mikoto, your ancestor summoned as a Lancer-class Servant! Lets see how much my bloodline's changed ever since i lived"

...

Returning back to the present time, a sigh escaped Nanashi's lips knowing that everything in his life would change for good now, both agreed to see the Overseer when night falls as to get more information about the Grail War...that and Kazuki didn't want to bother himself explaining

Nanashi:"What a thing..."

Kazuki:"Still thinking of it?" His voice filled Nanashi's head, but as he turned to look everywhere in signs of the Lancer, he was nowhere to be seen

Nanashi:"Where-?"

Kazuki:"I'm in my Spirit Form, you can't see me but we can still speak. So you own a doll shop? Kind of lame if you ask me!" Said with a mocking tone Kazuki laughing a bit afterwards

Nanashi:"Oh shut it, i live my life as i want to live it, and this has been a stable job so far..."

Kazuki:"Yeah, placing a shop right in your house, clever idea kid"
