It was a hot day in Ninjago. And at the monastery, it was dead hot.
The ninjas – plus Skylor, Pixal, Akita, and Vania – were in the Monastery's living room.
Zane is sitting in an armchair, with Pixal sitting on the floor between his legs reading a book.
Lloyd is lying on the floor with Akita's head on his lap. He was massaging her head while she was half asleep.
Nya is lying over the couch with Jay snuggled up on top of her.
Kai and Skylor are cuddling on the beanbag.
Cole and Vania are sleeping on the other couch.
It was a peaceful silence in the room before Kai broke it.
"Ugh! It's so hot in here. I'm melting to death!" He complained. "Then what do you guys do on a warm summer day like this?" Vania asked after she and Cole woke up from Kai's sudden complaining.
"Maybe we could go to the beach?" Zane suggested. "The beach?" Akita wondered. "Yes, the beach. It's a perfect place to go to on a day like this!" Lloyd said, now sitting up, but Akita still lying on his lap.
"That's a good idea!" Nya said, excited. "Yeah, sure." Jay agreed, burying his face in the crock of her neck.
They all agreed and went to pack their things for a day at the beach.

It was just them. That's because they were the only ones who knew about this beach. Lucky them!
They sat down their things and took off their clothes so that they were just in their swimwear that was underneath their clothes.
