IT DIDN'T surprise Mackenzie to know that her friend and Tony were on again.
It was a farm wedding.
The groom was gorgeous in his barong tagalog. Impatiently waiting for his bride to be handed to him.
There was no one to hand her over to him. But she didn't mind. Ibinibigay niya ang sarili kay James. She was walking through the flowers-filled aisle while the song and music of the guitarist filled the air.
There were bells on a hill
But I never heard them ringing
No I never heard them at all
Till there was you.
There were birds in the sky
But I never saw them winging
No I never saw them at all
Till there was you.
There was music and wonderful roses
They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows
Of dawn and you....
Amused.
"I was afraid you might vanish like a dream."
"I did not."
"Yes," he whispered. "And from this moment onward, you have lost the right to yourself because you are mine. Apart from the right to give pleasure and the right to receive it."
"I love you."
"And I love you back."
