Remember last summer when the sun was still high
When the night air smelt of ocean breeze and fireflies did fly
Drinking watered down lemonade, the ice melting too fast
I guess those days of ecstasy were never meant to last
August buried itself in the first golden leaves of fall
And left us behind, a memory, a dream to recall
