Things had changed for the fastest man alive..the once unbreakable bond of love he had for Iris had evaporated into nothingness; in some odd way this felt almost right..he had been stuck in this 'will they, wont they' cycle always wondering if they could make things work between them alas now that chapter in his life was ultimately over

He wanted to start over with this time him being the one in charge of the team he had started so long ago, he wanted to lead his team like an actual leader would and maybe Kara could work alongside him after all this wouldn't be the first time they worked together

The speedster's mind decides to put all of his thoughts on hold as his feet slide against the dirt; he looks around finding him on the outskirts of Star City with tall trees surrounding him and up ahead was a cabin in the middle of being constructed as Barry saw someone walk out of the cabin

Oliver:You said you wanted to talk..why did it sound so urgent?

Barry had no reason to lie to his best friend and they both knew that so he just decided to tell Oliver everything but starting with

Barry:Iris and I..we aren't together anymore..

Oliver's eyes widened a bit shocked hearing this news but even he had these small doubts about the West Allen marriage; obviously he cared about Barry and vice versa but he wanted know exactly why they weren't together anymore

Barry:You're going to want to sit down for this, Ollie. It's a pretty long story..

Oliver nodded his head and gestured for Barry to head inside the cabin as the archer and the speedster both grabbed some nearby chairs and sat down from across each other as Barry rubbed his hands together and began to explain everything to the archer

Kara had found herself wandering STAR Labs as she was still waiting for Barry to return from his talk with Joe, it had been a while since she was last here in fact the last time she here..it was during the Elseworld's event

The Girl of Steel stopped in her tracks as she noticed something different about the wall in front of her as she slowly reached out and placed her hand as it opened up revealing the Time Vault that only a few people knew about it's existence; she did remember coming in here once during the Elseworld but it was quite sometime ago for her

She slowly stepped into the Time Vault as the futuristic door closed behind her alas her attention was drawn elsewhere to a futuristic structure that had a circle in the middle, Kara held her hand out and in a blink of an eye a blue woman's floating head appeared in front of her

Gideon:[Hello, Kara Danvers-Allen. I did not except to see you soon..]

Kara raised an eyebrow genuinely curious about what she could assume was an advanced AI knew who she was

Kara:I'm sorry..um did you just call me Danvers-Allen? You know about me and Barry?

Gideon nods her head confirming her answer as multiple screens pop up and show pictures of Kara and Barry being together

Kara:So does that mean you also know about my son?

Gideon:[Yes, I do. Connor frequently visits the Time Vault and we have many interesting conversations from time to time, is there something you wish to know Ms Danvers-Allen?]
