When she arrived at kings cross station students where flooding in and house rapidly, as many had just gotten back from their break over December and into the beginning on January. The day was January 5th, the first day of the new semester. Lindler brought her through 9 and 3/4s which was genuinely confusing for a girl who has studied dark magic for six years, and dropped her off in front of the train. She felt abandoned and very anxious, something she hasn't felt in a while.
It was told to her that all of her necessary books for her studies where funded by the school, and her mother had left a fortune of money in her gringotts account, making Reese feel secure with wealth, but she was never the type of socialize, making her worry for how she was going to fit in.
The train doors where about to close so Reese hopped on and filtered in with all the other students, unsure of where she should sit. She finally came across a boy sitting alone fiddling with his wand in his hands with a few extra seats around him.
"Hello, do you mind if I sit here? There are not many spots left." She spoke confidently. Reese was a shy girl in some aspects but she knew she had to be straight forward when it came to speaking with strangers.
"Of course, my name is Allen, Blake Allen, are you knew?" She kindly accepted his invitation to sit down, and based on her plain uncolored robes, he could only assume she was a transfer. This thought only made her realize that she was a completely new person, and no one knew of her identity. She decided she would not lie about her name, but she was going to say she went to Erehnoll, only the normal school, and she would not talk about her family past or the gift she inherited.
Reese didn't want to be know in this school, this fresh start was almost like a blessing for her, she could finally live her undisturbed life, and no longer have to worry about Grindelwald in the back of her mind.
"Yes, I just transferred for the second semester, I'm Reese Cliodna."
"That is interesting, Hogwarts never gets transfers, let alone in the beginning of the year. I also noticed your accent is not British, where are you from?" He stated, only with curiosity behind his questions. Though he had good intentions, Reese realized it may be harder to keep her past life undercover when someone truly tries to interrogate her.
"Yes, I decided to come here since I was unsatisfied with my old school, Erehnoll, it is in Ireland." She knew she played it off well when she saw a sincere smile on Blake's face.
"Well, this train ride lasts a while so I should probably explain Hogwarts to you, you know the houses, and classes. Speaking of, what classes are you taking?" He spoke with energy, giving off an aura of a excited dog.
"Oh well I believe I have potions, astronomy, transfiguration, defensive against the dark arts, divination, and charms." Her tone sounded confused because she truly was, she never took most of these classes at Erehnoll but hopefully she would be able to catch on soon.
"Oh! Those are seventh year classes, how old are you? I am also in seventh year, I'm the Gryffindor prefect but I was hoping to be head boy, Riddle was destined for that spot though, he is the most powerful boy in our year."Blake contemplated his words, clearly upset abut the fact that riddle got head boy over him.
"Oh well I am 16 but I am in 7th year, I guess my old curriculum had me go up a year. Also what is Gryffindor? Is that one of the houses?" She asked, hoping not to seem like a show off because of how she skipped a year.
"Yes, there are four houses, Gryffindor, like me, for the brave, Hufflepuff for the honest, Slytherin for the cunning, and Ravenclaw for wit and intelligence." Blake said with ease as if he had said it hundred of times before, he probably had because he was a "prefect" which Reese was still yet to understand what that was.
