graduating high school can be scary, it's like leaving youth behind, after all college is pretty much the first step into adulthood

you promise to keep in touch with your friends even in college knowing damm well you'll lose contact sooner or later, or what about your lovers, if you don't end up going in the same college, will things work out?

Everything seemed like they were falling apart for Rui, after high school Wonderlands x Showtime parted ways, Tsukasa and Nene both went abroad to pursue their dreams, and though Emu is still doing shows at Phoenix Wonderland Rui barely keeps in contact with her nowadays

He thought, now the relationships he's built, that he's cherished so much have just faded away like they never happened

Things weren't looking too bright? well yes he was going to the best engineering college in japan, one of the top students to be in fact , he knew that he couldn't really find an actual career from being a director as much as he wanted to, he needed to make a living
though by normal people's standards he was doing pretty well for himself, but no matter what kind of amazing shows he directed or no matter how high of grades he got, he always felt something was missing, of course he was happy but still something was empty

Rui's college life wasn't going too great for him, classes had ended and he was feeling kinda hungry, too lazy to cook for himself he decided to head out , which he never does, he decides to try one of the diners that his classmates keep recommending him

he finds himself a table and waits for the waiter,
"What would like to eat? "

a familiar voice

"Aoyagi? "Rui looks up, surprised

" yes? Kamishiro "Toya replies with a smile, seemingly waiting for him for Rui to recognize him

" you work here? "

"i work here part-time every now and then, how have you been Kamishiro? what college do you go to? "

"Oh just the Tokyo Institute of Technology.. "

Rui responds with a smile

"Thats impressive! oh, my shift is almost over so do you mind waiting for me? and we can go somewhere else to catch up? " Toya asks

"I don't mind at all" Rui replies yet again with a smile

time flies by, Rui anxiously waits for Toya, why? he doesn't quite know, maybe its because he's the only person from high school he's met after graduating

Since Toya was a year younger he didn't know much about him, especially after graduation

"sorry to keep you waiting Kamishiro"

"no worries, and please drop the formalities"
the older replies, rising from his seat

"i apologize...force of habit, how about we head to a bar? would that be okay with you? " The younger replies

"I didn't expect Aoyagi to be the type of person to suggest alcohol, but fine with me, lets get going"

and the two headed for the bars and had a few drinks
and sooner or later both get drunk though they swore they'd only drink a bit,talking about old times they spent the night together

"Rui, its still so early how about we head down to the city?" The boy with two toned hair suggested

wait did Toya just call Rui by his first name?not that he minded of course

" I don't see why not " Rui replied, with a hiccup which made both laugh

After all, the night was still young
The two, obviously intoxicated even to just a passerby with the glance of an eye, made their rounds around the city

Playing games at the arcade, either competing with each other or cheering  each other on, they even somehow made their way to an amusement park, driving and bumping on each other like mad men in the bumper cars laughing and giggling every second , and of course like typical drunk people behavior they make their way to a tattoo shop

acting as if they've been best friends for 45 years they get matching tattoos, they both get a tiny star tattooed on thier wrist in different colors, which luckily isn't too bad

both smiling under the pale moonlight, Rui couldn't help but stare and admire Toya, has he always been this pretty or was it the alcohol talking?

either way he felt like he'd grown much closer to Toya this night much more than all those years going to school together or to anyone else ever, well after all back then neither of them had even tried to get closer to each other

and lastly they get pizza, after all running around the city drunk and smiling until your cheeks hurt would make you hungry

Toya feeds Rui a slice of pizza, pretty much shoving it in his mouth but you know, gently? he then takes a bite of the other end of the pizza while the other's still in Rui's mouth, Rui stands there wide eyed and blushing, the younger boy couldn't help but laugh

well perhaps it was the alcohol but Rui couldn't help but feel like maybe Toya was the 'thing' that he'd been missing his whole life

and well turns out he was

Rui looks fondly at the tattoo in his wrist

reminiscing  the night he fell in love with Toya

soon after that night, the two started dating, Rui couldn't help but smile and feel somewhat proud every time he called Toya his boyfriend when people asked about him

and now in just a few minutes he'd be able to call him his husband

after all it was their wedding day.

I had fun but a hard time writing this because marriage and stuff isn't really what I think about but I tried my best I hope the person who requested the marriage prompt was at least a little satisfied
