Fort was making breakfast for a change when I woke up. I showered and pulled on a shirt. I went to the kitchen and saw him cooking. I kissed his shoulder as I hugged him from the back.

"Hungry?"

"Hmm hmm."

"For food or me?"

"Both."

Fort chuckled. He finished off breakfast and plated it for us. As we were eating breakfast, I looked over at him.

"I want you to move in."

Fort looked at me surprised.

"My uncle isn't there anymore. You made that happen. I also plan to tell my dad on what's been happening."

"I know. And I know you be safe there. You can look after yourself. But I will miss you. Knowing that you are not here with me. Can't you stay with me?"

"Net.."

"As my boyfriend. As my partner. As my lover. Can't you?"

Fort kept quiet, just looking at his breakfast. I didn't continue the topic for the rest of breakfast. I decided to leave the ball in his court. Boss called so that broke up the momentum for a bit. We chatted with him, made plans for the evening and I went to wash the dishes for us.

Fort took a smoke break and I joined him in the balcony. I stood next to him and he placed his arms around my waist, pulling me in. He leaned over and sniffed my neck, quickly swiping his tongue over it. I shuddered at the sudden gesture and glared at him. He laughed as he kissed me on my neck again, aiming right for the sweet spot.

I tried to smoke but failed completely and turned to him, letting him take me in his arms. Fort hugged me tightly and whispered the word I been wanting to hear.

"Yes."

I looked at him. He cocked his eyebrows at me and I knew instantly. A smile flitted over despite me not wanting to and Fort grinned at that. This boy had me in his hands like putty and he knew that. He finished off his cigarette and then I finished him off in the living room.

We got ready around 6pm to go meet Boss and some other friends for drinks. Fort walked off to go say hi to some friends but he turned to look at me before he did so. I nodded minutely and off he went. I didn't realize Boss had been watching us.

"Is it me or did Fort just inform you before he went off?"

"I think you are seeing things."

"You sure? I am pretty sure I know what I saw. Are you sure there is nothing between you two?"

I kept quiet. Boss looked at me and then he went, "Well ok, if you say sooooooo." But I saw the cheeky grin that flitted over Boss's face.

"Don't do anything funny na? Boss, I know you well enough!"

Boss just chuckled. Fort came back a while later and he just sat next to me but not too close. Shit shit, I had definitely ignited Boss who will be upto no good. How do I warn Fort? I took out my phone to text him and just then, Boss took my phone away, citing we were about to play games. Ah shit.

We played games with bets on them. Thankfully I won mine and things were going OK until Fort lost one round. Boss looked at me and then he went, "Well as forfeit, I want you to kiss Li over there"

Li was chuckling away. We all knew it was just a game. Fort smiled but I know as hell he didn't want to do it. Hell, I didn't want him doing it. I watched as Li said it will be fine and jsut a peck on the cheek will do. Fort just smiled but didn't know how to reject. Fort then stood up to make his way to Li as he didn't want to spoil the vibes of the atmosphere. I watched as he took 2 steps and na, not working for me.

"He'll no. He isn't kissing anyone else. I wouldn't let him." I had stood up and pulled Fort back to me and sat down. Everyone looked at us in surprise. Fort completely blushed and didn't say a word. I looked at Boss defiantly and jsut muttered "I'm not going to let my boyfriend kiss anyone else even if it's a game."

There was pitch silence for a while before Boss laughed and everyone just broke out in laughter and applause.

"Took you long enough. We all could tell from the minute you two walked in. Come on. Fort and I are best friends. You think he wouldn't have told me you guys are dating? Was just messing with you a bit."

My face reddened more when I heard that. I looked at Fort who just threw me a cheeky grin. I burrowed my head into Fort who just held onto me.

"Stop teasing him guys. I wouldn't let you bully my man like that."

"And yet you scolded me for setting you up on a blind date with him sometime ago. Look who ended up together."

This time, Fort blushed irrevocably and I just held onto him, nuzzling my lips into his neck.

If you had asked me 6 months ago, if I ever saw someone dating this fellow, I would have laughed at you. Can you imagine me dating Fort?

But 6 months later, though it may have started off as just simmering sexual tension, I couldn't help but fall for this guy who just arrested me initially with his cheeky dimpled smile, smouldering kisses and warm personality.

I couldn't help but hold onto Fort tightly as we soaked in the vibes for the rest of the night together. Holding the hands of my boyfriend and lover all together.
