Everyone around us was dancing in joy to celebrate the new decade. There was a massive party for all the nations. It was a way to cease the fighting and conflict to come and celebrate. Everyone was here! Ms. Mexico and some of her Latin American siblings, the Nordics, the African continent, a few Asian countries, and even some of the USSR.

Arthur and I stood in front of each other, swaying to the music. "Where are the boys?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders and continued to swing in front of him. Arthur did the hustle, and I couldn't help but follow his lead. He had stopped being close to Portugal, and once again, we spent so much time together—more than usual.

"MR. FRANCE!"

I nearly fell over, feeling that idiot jump me. "I'm busy!" I declared. I pushed Spain off me and continued to dance with Arthur. Spain looked sad at my actions and got between us to dance. "Seriously?" I asked, annoyed. He had begun doing the hustle, pushing me away slightly. "I hate you so much," Arthur spoke. He was about to walk away, but spain grabbed his hand. "Hey!" Arthur glared. I had stopped dancing at this point, watching Spain force Arthur to dance with him. Spain began to spin him around in a circle by holding onto his wrists, and I only stared in astonishment. Spain was an idiot, so I didn't pay him any mind sometimes.

"SLOW DOWN!" Arthur yelled.

They had started to spin faster, and I began to watch nervously. "Hey! You are going to fall if you keep doing that!" I called. Spain pulled Arthur toward the dance floor center, using Arthur's body to push people out of the way as they spun. "LET GO!" Arthur yelled.

"NO! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR KEEPING FRANCE ALL TO YOURSELF! Talk about stingy!"People began to watch in laughter.

"Whoa! I didn't know England was friends with Spain!" Alfred called from behind me. Matthew looked horrified, and Alfred began jumping up and down excitedly. "WE AREN'T!" Arthur yelled. He looked like he was getting dizzy.

"What took you so long?" I asked, turning away from Arthur. Matthew still looked concerned, but I ignored it. "Ah! Well, something came up that I needed to talk to you and Arthur about...I would hate to talk politics here, but you two are the only ones I know who can help," Alfred spoke. He laughed nervously, trying to make it seem as if it weren't a big deal. However, I had a feeling it was.

"Oh, okay, well, we can meet at my place tonight and talk more about it," I suggested. Alfred nodded, relieved, and I suddenly noticed Matthew's face grow pale. "That would be amazing!" Alfred cheered. However, I looked at Matthew, concerned. "What is it?" I asked. "HERE! CATCH!" Spain shouted. I turned my head around and saw as he flung Arthur toward the boys and me. "OH MY—"

It felt like a game of bowling as Spain tossed him toward us, knocking us down. "STRIKE!" Spain yelled. The air was knocked out of my lungs, and the hit caused so much pain to rush through my body.

We had all fallen to the ground, and Arthur lay across us, looking as if he regretted his entire life. "Oh my god," Alfred gasped. I slowly sat up from the floor, seeing Arthur look more lifeless as he still lay on Matthew. Not many seemed to care about what happened; they only began to laugh.

"Please, someone kill me..." Arthur groaned. I couldn't help but laugh at his statement. I stood up quickly, pulling him off Matthew. "If only!" I laughed. Alfred helped Matthew, and we all stood beside each other to fix ourselves.

"Wow! I want to try too!" Prussia cheered. Jesus, everyone was so unhinged. I couldn't even deny that I wasn't; I was self-aware and knew I was unhinged, partly because I spent too much time with Arthur. I was turning into a rat. Well, it wasn't like I hated being around him.

I looked at him smiling and felt so much adoration for him.

One day...

Not today, But one day.
