Hurt and Denials

Tae's brain felt heavy as he tossed on his bed. He tried opening his eyes but his brain hammered back at him at double speed so he shut it back immediately. Drinking till wee hours all alone last night was clearly a terrible idea.

He was going to be hungover all day.
When he finally got up, the first thing he did was he switched his phone off so that Jimin could not nag him.

He dragged himself to the kitchen to make himself a lemonade. His mind buzzing hard.

He was squeezing the lemon in his drink when his eyes fell on the book kept on table.

His eyes scrunched as he gulped down the drink and walked up to the book.

"Reckless" by Jeon Jungkook.

His teeth gritted inside his mouth as he tried to think how the hell did it get there.

"Read before shoot starts!"

Jimin. Ofcourse Jimin.

He took the book and threw at the cupboard across the room before closing his eyes and calming down.

"Fuck!" He yelled in frustration.

This was going to be one hell of a journey.

Jimin was making himself scrambled eggs when his phone buzzed.

Min Yoongi, the name flashed.

He picked the call up and breathed in,

"Hello Suga!"

Yoongi laughed.

"Hi Jimin-aah!"

"So, what's up?"

"So, on a scale of 1-10 how mad will you be if I say I am standing at your door at an unreasonably early hour because I wanted to meet you."

Jimin frowned and clicked his tounge.

"Umm, I don't know. . .0?"

The door opened and Jimin couldn't hide the surprise he felt seeing Yoongi really standing across him.

"You really are here?" Jimin stated and Yoongi just shrugged.

The breakfast table was set for two and Yoongi immediately digged in as soon as Jimin sat beside him.

"So,what's eating you from the inside?" Jimin asked cheekily watching Yoongi's expression change from content of food to shock of life

Yoongi just watched Jimin as the latter laughed and answered filling his own mouth with a morsel.

"Don't look so shocked. All of your emotions comes to your face, besides you act very out of character when you are anxious. Like this. You coming to my house in your gym clothes."

"I don't think a lot of people in my life can read me like that."

Jimin felt something gushing in his heart as he ignored the feeling and did a psudeo hats off.

Yoongi smiled at that.

" It's nothing really. Did Taehyung read the book?" He asked slyly.

"Don't think so. He isn't much of a reader. I feel Hoseok should give him a narration instead." Jimin replied carefully as the flashes of the book in Tae's trash crossed his mind.

"Don't you think when adapting, it's best to read the source material, also this isn't the first time Tae is doing an adaption  and last time he was all about the nuances that come from knowing a character from an author's perspective." Yoongi sounded confused.
