Ten.

There's a knock on her door. It's Eliza calling to her, "Mama? Daddy's gone and Nana's made breakfast. And I think that Daddy left you a note here on the door."

Hermione steps through the doorway, swiftly smoothing her hand under Eliza's chin. She closes the door and begins reading the note tacked onto it.

"My Dear Hermione,

As I said, I have left for work for the day. I was unsure on how this whole thing would be concluded, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's a special rock that /// I found one day, so many years ago. Notice it's colors, it's the colors of our eyes, Granger. My emerald green and creamy almond brown.
If you take it into your hands, (without Eliza's hand in yours) and try to think of our fourth year back at Hogwarts. To be more specific, try hiding away around the time of the Yule Ball.
And when I suggest hiding away and keeping Eliza out of it, I mean it. It's time-travel, and only you and I were a thing of that year.
Either way, in the end, I just want you to know that I love you Granger. You've changed my life for good.
Forever Yours,
Draco "
