Seven.

Curiosity came over Hermione. She had to know what or who the letters were meant for. So, she opened the first one in her hands.

In the dark ink of a quill, it spoke lightly like a feather. =

"My Dear ///////,"

The name had been scratched out of place. Still Hermione kept reading..

"It may be that we don't really have a lot in common. Still, I can understand why you wouldn't want to speak to me. And whether or not you read this, please know that I respect you and I only wish that we could've started this whole thing when we were younger. Preferably, the first day we met.
The thing is is that you've changed me. I mean, if it weren't for the the Yule Ball back in our fourth-"

Hermione couldn't read it anymore. The only line that ran through her head repetitively was, "if it weren't for the Yule Ball." The Yule Ball was placed as a small celebration before the 'Quad'-Wizard Cup challenges began.

Hermione was afraid, did Draco lie about her being his first love?
