"Shobe, did you bring sunblock? I can't believe you're going to be gone for a week," Mom said in a panicky voice.
"I can't believe it, too.
"Oh yeah? No pasalubong for you, then." I rolled my eyes at Liam, and he just stuck his tongue out.
"Mommy oh, si Liam," sumbong ko.
"What? I didn't do anything!"
"Shobe, what about your eye patch for sleeping?
"Mom, can you calm down? She's literally going to a friend's wedding. I think she's old enough to handle herself for a week," natatawang sabi ni Kuya Gabe.
"See what I have to deal with?" I told him.
Si nalang ang Kuya Gabe ang naiwan sa Baguio which at first didn't seem a lot at first, but it sucked knowing na Pasko at New Year nalang kami nag-sasama sama.
Aba, knowing your kuya?" Mommy said while fixing her lipstick. "Shobe, you brought naman your dress for later, right?
"Mom, we've gone over this a thousand times." Umiling si Kuya Gabe.
"It took five whole days of convincing her na pumunta ako a day earlier than you guys to Ilocos so I could at least attend their rehearsal dinner," I muttered.
"Guys, come on. Your mom just wants to spend more time with you now that you guys are getting older," salita naman ni Dad.
I sighed and opened my phone instead.
After reacting to their pictures, I headed over to my conversation with Zeke and sent him a picture of Kuya Gabe looking out of the window with Liam playing on his iPad.
