Within the library stood a tall man reading a book with a katana by his side, he was searching for something in privacy but faint footsteps walked in his direction, his icy gaze turned to the figure and it was a woman around 5'5 height and weighed no less than 65kg, the woman dressed in varies of greys and blacks, a hood attempted to cover her blonde locks of hair, orange sunglasses concealing her eyes, a black mask covering her mouth and nose. She wore a cotton jacket that held the hood in place, a black sleeveless turtle neck, and a belt that hang straps off her slim waist, on her legs were tights just above the knees with two pistol holders on each side of her leg and she wore black laced up boots.

"I thought you'd be here" the woman spoke, her accent was rather heavy and her English was roughed, clearly wasn't from town but somewhere else in the world. The male didn't know her name but neither did she. they always bumped into each other at the same library every other day.

the woman's presence didn't bother the man but he noticed they always seem to bump into each other at this exact library whenever he has been there searching for answers to the questions that dwell in his mind and how he can obtain his goal.  "Should I be concerned that you are now stalking me," the tall man asked closing his book and turning his attention to the woman? the woman merely shrugged her shoulders in response to his question, she lacked the skills to acknowledge who he was however she didn't seem to know what he is either like he didn't care about that before but that didn't stop her from approaching him in such a casual manner, With each step, the man's hand went to the hilt of his blade ready to draw his sword.

The woman obviously caught this action and let out a small chuckle escape her lips as she walked past him to another shelf taking a book that was at her height "so hostile" the woman spoke in amusement, she obviously wasn't scared of the man as her body turned into the man direction tilting her head to the side. Curiosity filled the woman's body as her eyes gazed up and down the man's body taking him in, any weakness she can spot and possibly attack to disarm him as her hand was on the handle of the pistol ready to draw it, if the man was waiting to draw his weapon as well.

"you seem confident in your abilities thou who will be quicker, My blade to your throat or your gun to my head" the man spoke putting the book back where it originated from. The woman made a noise at the back of her throat in response to the man's threat as she opened the book in her fingerless gloved hand turning the papers across the book reading and skimming it through gathering intel for the knowledge of her own research.

"that would depend on the distance and speed you can conjure in a span of 2 seconds and even that can be too long to draw our weapons, and I don't know your abilities so how can you know mine," the woman said, her tone was playful lack of caution of the man in front of her. The woman was confident and dared to challenge the man in front of her which did intrigue the other as to how she could possibly have challenged him with such confidence.

The man's eyes narrowed at the woman "yet I do not know your name nor do you know mine, human girl, it would seem we are both at odds but I highly suggest you leave me alone, I won't tell you a second time" he spoke in a cold tone, no warmth or playfulness as he fully intended to forcibly remove her from his presence. The sound of laughter reached his ears and it was the woman's laughter in amusement like she didn't believe him in the slightest amount. It irked the man greatly as if the woman was mocking him greatly, his thumb pushed the barrier of the katana up revealing part of the blade prepared to attack the woman but the woman said something that stopped his actions.

"Who said I was human, it's rude to assume one's species, what if I was a fairy or better yet a demon taking on a human disguise" the woman spoke playfully, it threw the man off a bit as that's something you don't say out of the blue even when your laughing as well. but the woman said it so casually but also in a joking manner, the man was not impressed at all but the woman took his shock to edge closer to him and looks up at him. The man could now see her eyes more clearly behind the orange sunset tint glasses, her eyes showed a glint of mischief that reminded the man of his younger brother whom he so despised.

"then what are you, a human or a beast in disguise?" the man demanded to know, the woman simply shrugged her shoulder not giving him an answer to his question she closed her eyes as she removed her glasses to the side and let them hand in the inside of her shirt. All the man saw were light blue eyes looking through stained glass, she stares into his own without an ounce of fear presented in them but it was filled with curiosity and amusement until the man felt cold metal pressed up against his jaw. He saw that the woman pulled out a pistol from her hostler that was attached to her hips and pointed it into his jaw, finger on the trigger ready to fire at him at any sudden movement of him attacking her.

"Why should I tell you what I am? it will ruin the game then?" she spoke, that what it was to the two, a game or perhaps a dance of multiple steps to get around one another. However the two never made the effort to know one another, no matter who was there around them or when they are alone, the woman always figure out what irked him and poke at it until she got a reaction but today was a bit different than any other day. The woman shut the book she was reading and puts her glasses back on, she grabbed to another section of the shelf and grabs a couple of books, one was a children's book and the other was about demons of bloodthirst and proceed to walk around the man and away before the man stopped her with the sheathe of his blade.

"tell me your name girl" the man demanded to know the woman's name before she left for another day until they encounter each other again, it would take days? weeks? or even months for their next encounter, the man wanted to know the woman who can easily get under his skin with little effort on her part.

The woman stopped in her tracks and tilts her head over looking over her shoulder to look at the man "only if you tell me yours first sir" she spoke with a sharp edge to her tone, the man's eyebrows furrowed together in conflict, hummed in disagreement.

"yours first," he says but the woman merely chuckles at him shaking her head in the decline of his request as she pushed the case of his katana away from her so she could leave with the books she had in hand.

"then you don't get to know my name than now do you?" she says and turns away from him but she looked up to see a bald man standing there before them, the woman hummed at the man before her and took a side step around him as she walked away from the two men that were there. the bald man was interested in the other male with a book in his hand.

The man ignored the other male as he watch as the woman left the scene as she was hugged by another girl wearing childish clothing that made the man cringe on the inside, of how someone can wear such clothing. The woman pats the other on the head as the girl dragged the woman away before she glanced over and pulled her mask down and said something that he couldn't decipher.
