27| "You could've spent more"

I went into Victoria secret and the boys stayed outside.

I got some lace underwear and bras.

I got a couple bathing suits for Amara and I as well.

We went to a couple other clothibg stores but Amara and I mostly loved shoes.

We got the pair of black platform converse, Dior converse, I got soem Gucci platform slippers, some white cross, I also got some heels and she got more sneakers. I lastly got three Pais of uggs.

The total of all the shoes rounded off to about 550k.

I took my credit card out to pay but then Luca stopped her.

"Ace is paying for everything." He said.

"No. I will pay. Besides I don't like using people's money especially from men." I said.

"I love that, but come on. Just for today. Your saving yourslef gave a million." Tristain tried.

"Your even saving thousands of dollars." Luca pitched in.

"Guys no. Juts let me buy the stuff." She said .

"No." Tristain said blocking the way on the card machine.

I sighed knowing I wouldn't get past him so I let them pay and we were off.

To me that was nothing really.

"See you spent quite the money?" Aces voice said as he walked up the stairs from a door bellow with his hands in his front pocket.

I looked him up and down and he had on a whie button up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow.

The shirt, hugging his muscular arms and the black pants tight in all the right places.

My eyes look back at his and has a mysterious smile. I rolled my eyes.

"You could've spent more." He said and my jaw slightly dropped eyes narrowing.

I turn around so I was facing Luca and Tristian.

"Why didn't you tell me I couldve spent more?" I asked jokingly.

And they chuckled and I smiled.

"Sorry ma'am." Lucs said playfully.

"Tristian and Luca tell everyone else that we're having a meeting. Tell then not to be late." He said in Italian and holy I why did I feel butterflies and weakness.

"Si." They both replied and left.

He turned his face back to mine and he studied it.

"I'm sorry for not telling you where I was going with Amara that was very wrong of me to do-" I cut him off.

"Thank you for the apology and I do forgive you. It was really rude and selfish of me to say such words and not think they wouldnt possible hurt you. But you do relise that Ace, and I'm sorry to say this, but you weren't there her entire life. You only came into her life like three days ago, and you can't just expect her to be your daughter. Yes you are her father by blood and all, but still Ace...just please let me know where you are her and what happens to her when I'm no around or anything like that. For me to actually let you take care of her means a lot to me and I'm sure it did as well to you. " I said using my hands hear and there.

"I will and I'm promising you that I
will." He said and genuinely sounded like it was a promise.

"Thank you." I said with a small smile at the end and he returned it.

I'm seated leaning backnon the chair at the head of the table, wothba glass of whiskey in my hand.

My men seated on either sid eof the table and some standing at the walls.

"If you have noticed there have been two girls in this house who ahve been here for the past three days."I said and they nodded.

"They aren't people who you should mess with or else you will be dealt with me. I ahve some rules for you to follow when you are around these people." I said and took a swing of my whiskey, beofr ei continue.

"1. Never point a gun at them or have any dangerous weapon information of them. 2. Don't touch them unless they've given you consent. 3. Don't do any security activities woth them. 4. Font look at the wrongly. 5. Protect them with your dear life. 6. When they tell you soemthung I expect to follow it. 7. You are to treat them with respect. 8. Don't kill them.
If any of these rules are broken you will be immediately dealt with me as I said in the beginning. Yes?"

"Yes boss." They all said.

"Good. Now don't let me see or find out if you've done anything. As well as if one of you see another breking the rules tell me and if you don't you'll also be dealt with me." I finished.

"Yes boss." They all said again.

"You are dismissed." I said and they all waisted no time leaving knowing i don't like when they are slow.
