The littlest of Joys (Cookie Run kingdom x reader)

Chapter 22: Dream

In this new form, Tighnari was able to do much more damage then previously. Pumpkin pie cookie, Strawberry crepe cookie and (Y/N) all watched as it took one slash of the foxes paws for the dummy cookie to be shredded in two.

It was also made clear that Tighnari could switch between his little and big form. Which was a good thing because (Y/N) knew that the room they had in the palace would not be able to fit the giant fox demon.

Finally night rolled around, and (Y/N) was exhausted after the long and troubling day they had. So after waving goodbye to their other two cookie friends. (Y/N) wobbled their way back to their room.

Holding their new fox companion, (Y/N) laid down in their small cookie bed and drifted off into sleep.

That sleep would only last for sometime when the sound of a train horn shook them out of their sleep. (Y/N) sat up from their sleeping position to see not their room but instead a busy train station with black and white speckled lumps of goo that were moving all the way around.

What stopped them from staring was a familiar yelp from their lap. They looked down to see the familiar green eared fox they recently took in.

(Y/N) couldn't help but sigh with relief as they knew they weren't alone where ever they were. (Y/N) grabbed Tighnari before standing up, "Hey, Tighnari. I don't think we're in the cookie run kingdom anymore." They attempted to walk forward until another strange goo being zoomed past them. (Y/N) stumbled a bit tightening their hold on Tighnari as the goo being turned back.

"Apologies. I don't want to be late."

"Late for what?" (Y/N) asked. The figure looked at the cookie with disbelief, "The train of course. Now I must get going! Sorry for almost making you fall!"

(Y/N) stared in confusion at the goo beings form as it slowly disappeared into the sea of space beings. The words the creature said made them think.

"Wait.... We were just sleeping and now we're in a train station?" (Y/N) gasped, Tighnari's ears flipping up at the sudden sound.

"Do you know where we are?" (Y/N) asked, lifting the fox in the air. Tighnari of course couldn't respond and only stared at this owner with confusion.

"We are in the station of dreams. But why would I be here? And how do I get out?" (I know it has a different name but the station of dreams just sounds cooler in my opinion.)

(Y/N) then heard a chime ring throughout the station and a voice follow soon after, "Last train for the City of Wizards. Last train!"

(Y/N) gasped, "Come on, Tighnari! We have to hurry!" The fox nodded even though he was not leaving the hands of his owner. The two dashed dodging other patrons of the train station until they made it to the train which lead to the City of Wizards. (Y/N) heaved deep breaths as they sat on one of the many cushiony seats. Tighnari looked up at his owner with worry.

(Y/N) smiled before patting the foxes head, "Don't worry, Tighnari. I'm fine. I just hope this is where we go to get out of here."

It wasn't long before the train horn ring and the scraping of the wheels against the tracks rang through the train car. It then became dark before (Y/N) looked out the window to see the two were no longer in the station but it looked like they were in outer space. It was beautiful and even Tighnari couldn't help but admire the beautiful view. They were so focused on the galaxy that surrounded the train they didn't see the cookie that was asking for tickets from each patron in the train.

"Ticket please!" The cloud being asked the cookie who turned with confusion. (Y/N) looked inside their cookie Jean pockets which were completely empty.
