Crosshair had woken, and sat himself up.

"How do you feel?" Tech asked, poised with his blaster set to stun if need be.

Even though Tech trusted that Lyra's work would be sufficient in adjusting Crosshair's early chip activation, he would rather not take any chances.

"I feel fine," Crosshair hissed and shook his head before giving his brothers a wounded look. "You shot me!

"So we could remove your inhibitor chip!" Hunter said. "Do you feel any different?"

"I guess less aggressive?" Crosshair rubbed his head. " but I don't suddenly want to adopt fifty children."

"So you feel normal?" Wrecker hopefully asked.

Crosshair shrugged, before turning to Tup.

"Who the kriff is this guy?" Crosshair pointed his chin at Tup.

"I'm Tup! I helped arrange the removal of your chip with Lyra," Tup gave a friendly wave.

"Lyra," Crosshair frowned. "Wasn't she that medic?"

"Yes," Tech nodded with just the slightest blush.

"And I..." Crosshair looked crestfallen.

"Do not feel too bad," Tech ressured him. "Lyra does not blame you. She feels that it was the inhibitor chips early activation that made you highly aggressive, so you took it out on her!"

"Doesn't make me feel any better," Crosshair sighed.

"Do you remember feeling high aggression levels?" Tech asked.

"I guess?"  Crosshair shrugged. "I mostly remember wanting to be a good soldier to the Republic and thinking that Lyra was traitor for some reason."

Wrecker handed Crosshair his doll Lula, and watched for Crosshair's reaction.

"What's this for?" Crosshair scowled at Wrecker.

"She'll help ya feel better!" Wrecker grinned widely at Crosshair. "I remember how ya always wanted one while we were cadets and figured I'd give ya Lula for your recovery."

Crosshair looked awestruck for a minute before hugging Lula close to his chest.

"But I want her back after," Wrecker said.

"Where'd Lyra go?" Tup looked around.

"She stepped out to answer her comm," Tech absentmindedly replied as he began to tidy the medical facility used to remove Crosshair's chip.

"She's been gone for several minutes," Hunter shook his head.

"Maybe she needed ta go pee," Wrecker suggested.

"Maybe," Tup shrugged, but by the look on his face, didn't believe that.

"That headache's gone!" Crosshair reported.

"That's good," Tech smiled. "It means your brain's activity is no longer influenced by your inhibitor chip."

Crosshair gave a strained smile and sighed, leaning into his hands. Wrecker frowned and pressed Lula against Crosshair more.

"What  are you doing now?" Crosshair looked up in alarm at Wrecker.

"You're still sad!" Wrecker pouted. "Is Lula not working?"

"Lula's fine!" Crosshair grabbed the stuffed doll from Wrecker's grip again and hugged it.

Wrecker put his hands up in surrender before backing away.
