Chapter 17: Rebuild a kingdom

All the cookies in the crown both familiar and not familiar with the human, gazed at the green and white speckled haired cookie on top of the wolf. The crowd remained silent as if waiting for the new cookie to respond.

(Y/N) gulped the sudden... is it spit or is it like corn syrup? They gulped down the sudden licked that filled their mouth out of nervousness.

With a shaky hand, they lifted it off the ground before giving a quick wave.

"H-Hi!"

The crown suddenly erupted with shouts of shock and awe at the cookie turned human.

"That cookie is a human?!"
"That's (Y/N)!?"
"What happened to them?!"
"They are okay?!"
"That was (Y/N)'s voice!"

The cookies who had previously met the human in their world rushed to the front of the crowd, "I've never seen anything like this." Clotted Cream cookie stared in awe.

Expresso cookie placed his glasses back on, which were in disarray due to the shock of what had just been told, "You've a cookie. I didn't even know that possible?!"

"⚫️⚪️🔘◾️⚫️⚪️⚫️!"

"The kid said that we gotta host a party for the cookie that saved us." Captain Caviar cookie translated.

Finally Creampuff cookie stepped forward along with her teachers, "I can sense such powerful magic. Could that be the result of the witches spell?"

(Y/N) let out a small smile before nodding, however that joy didn't reach their eyes especially at the mention of the witches. "I don't know what they did but I'm here now. It hurts to know that they kept this from me and the fact that they resorted to kidnap you guys in an attempt to keep that secret hurts even more." (Y/N) felt tears build up, "I'm sorry this had to happen to all of you. I'm sorry for destroying your kingdom and your homes."

(Y/N) was full on crying now, they were so focused on apologizing that they didn't realize that the crowd had gotten quiet or the fact that the cookies who were familiar with the human looked at them with such sympathy.

It wasn't until (Y/N) felt a sudden nudge against their arm did they stop trying to brush the tears out of their eyes. When they looked up they could see a new cookie who had nudged their arm.

The familiar purple hair, white dress and tear filled eyes took them by surprise. Onion cookie began to wipe tears out of her eyes as well before lifting up her tiny plushy onion that she always had.

"Here." She whimpered, "My doll always makes me feel better. Maybe he can help you feel better."

(Y/N) couldn't help but let out a shaky smile as they gently took the doll out of the child's hand. They held it up to admire the purple wrinkly skin that resembled the flesh of an onion and the two little leaves on top.

The green-haired cookie then lowered it before placing it back in the arms of the its original owner.

(Y/N) woods their remaining tears, "Thank you, Onion cookie."

The child turned away before lifting up the doll to cover her red face. Onion cookie then fired the arm of the plushie before moving it side to side as if to wave a thanks.

Pure Vanilla cookie along with the others couldn't help but smile at the exchange. But they still had one problem to deal with.

"Now that we have settled that. We must fix the kingdom back to its former self."

"Okay? But you still haven't showed me how." (Y/N) said, turning back to the grinning healer.

"It's simple. Your magic is very powerful and I predict it has the ability to fix the kingdom." (Y/N)'s jaw dropped at the description but the healer continued, "So First you must imagine how the kingdom looked before. Then when your heart is ready will the magic flow through you and you will be able to rebuild the kingdom."

"Of course. I wouldn't get a direct answer but I guess I can try." (Y/N) scowled before turning their gaze onto the crumbled castle.

They took a deep breath as they closed their eyes.

Okay I need to think about how the kingdom looked before. Well it was made out of candy and swirls and had a red roof. I know it's stupid but I thought that castle was really nice looking. I remember the main five in the kingdom and slowly the more cookies I got the bigger the kingdom grew. I saw them go on so many adventures and see how much fun they were having.

(Y/N) could feel a warmth envelop them as they continued to think about the kingdom.

I remember how long it took me to get Dark Cacao cookie. I had to do all those stupid tasks and wishes. But when I got him I couldn't be happier. That how it was with every cookie, when ever I got one I got so happy. So when they came into my world, it was a dream come true. I may be (Y/A) years old but I got to meet my favorite characters. These cookies, no my friends mean the world to me. And I swear I am going to help them as much as I can starting with the castle!

(Y/N) didn't realize but a green light began to develop over the castle. It wasn't until they could hear the sound of rubble moving did they open their eyes and see what they were somehow doing. The rubble slowly pieced itself back onto the palace walls. The pillars and towers that were connected to the castle put themselves in their respectable place and any extra debris was extinguished in the blink of an eye.

Finally when the last tower was placed back into its rightful spot, did the glowing stop and the kingdom return to its former glory.

All the cookies in the cookie run kingdom screamed with joy at the rebuilt castle but also to the cookie that helped accomplish it.

(Y/N) stared in disbelief, "I just did that?!" They asked towards their friends who were laughing.

"Yep, you did. Now by royal decree of the king, I say we go inside and celebrate our rebuilt castle!"

The main group and the three ancient hero's cheered as they ventured towards the castle except for (Y/N) who was still on Crunchy chip wolf's back.

"WAIT! I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO WALK!!" They screamed before the wolf ran after the group. Little did they know there was a certain cookie also running.

Meanwhile somewhere not too far away in the forest~~~~~

Pomegranate cookie, rushed back to her kingdom, thanks to her spell she was able to stay hidden and watch as this new cookie was able to rebuild the destroyed kingdom with little to no effort. Whoever this new cookie was, they were powerful.
