I'm nesting. Terribly. I couldn't sleep so I went into the baby room and starting folding the baby clothes.
"Sienna." I heard a groggy voice say.
I turned around to see my husband in his plaid pajama pants with no shirt. He walked over to me kissing my head.
"What are you doing?" He asked
"Folding baby clothes." I smiled
"Baby it's 3 am in the morning." He said
"I couldn't sleep. So I figured instead of waking you I would fold baby clothes but then you woke up because I wasn't in bed." I guessed
"Your correct. You know I can't sleep without you near me." He said
"She's nesting." A voice said
"Dad. Why are you awake?" Aaron asked
"Dad what are you doing awake?" I said
Carl and Ian were standing at the door looking at us.
"Your nesting." Ian said
"The hell is nesting." I asked
"This urge to clean and organize is known as nesting. Nesting during pregnancy is the overwhelming desire to get your home ready for your new baby. The nesting instinct is strongest in the later weeks coming upon delivery. It is an old wives' tale that once nesting urges begin, labor is about to come on." Carl said
"We'll it makes sense. You are 4 weeks overdue." Aaron said
"Now I'm sleepy." I said
BOOM
"Powers out." I said
Ring ring ring
"That's me." Aaron said
Following him into our room Aaron answered the phone.
"We have to get to the bureau." Aaron said
Nodding my head I walked into our closet grabbing a black turtleneck and black and white dress with my black and white Dior shoes. Slipping the shoes on I bent down before huffing.
"Aaron." I whined
"Need help?" He asked arching a brow
"Please." I begged
Getting in his knees he tied my shoes before kissing my bump.
"Purse." He said handing it to me
Getting in the car we headed for the bureau.
