Forever and always

Chapter forty-six

After only a few minutes he knocked on the door and I quickly went to open the door. "Hey" he said and had a cute smile all over his face. "Hey, get in" I said and pulled him into my room so no one would see him here. "Missed me?" he asked and wrapped his arms around me while pulling me closer. "You have no idea" I smiled just before our lips touched. "I take that as a yes," he laughed and went for another kiss.

We were now just sitting in my room, Charles had his arms wrapped around me while I was leaning myself against him. We talked about the practices where he topped all three of them, and I couldn't be happier for him, I really hope this season will be his. Well it's really hard to choose since I also want this season to be Max's, but as long as it will be one of theirs, I'm happy. - I didn't get to watch qualifying since I was at the airplane while they were driving, but Charles told me all about it, and how he got P2. Checo got pole, Carlos got third and Max was down at fourth. Unfortunately Daniel was all the way down on 12th.. - I also told him about the sweet taxi driver, he thought it was really funny.

As we were talking I heard a knock on my door, I wasn't expecting anyone. I went to open the door and saw Max standing there. "Hey Max!" I said and smiled. "Hey Oli" he said and pulled me into a tight hug. "So I just wanted to see if you had arrived well, and to say hi to you" he said. "I have, and I'm really good," I smiled, which he did too. "I think I'm going to bed soon though, I'm really tired after the day of travel" I said and tried to make him go away, since I still haven't told him about me and Charles getting back together. "Sure, get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow at the track" he said. "Yeah, can't wait," I said and pulled him into a goodbye hug.

"Phew that was close!" I said as I had closed the door. "I thought you had told him," Charles said. "No, we agreed on not telling anyone right? Have you told anyone?" I asked and looked at him, he looked guilty. "Yeah.. I told Carlos and then the word quickly spread out to Pierre, George and Lando as well, I'm sorry love" he said and walked towards me. "It's fine, I have also told Daniel to be honest" I laughed. "Yeah I figured" he laughed as well. "When are we going public?" I asked. "Whenever you are ready" Charles smiled.

"Soon, I can't keep it a secret. I wanna be with you everywhere, not only locked in a hotel room and I wanna come to your garage as well" I said and got closer to him. "Then let's tell everyone" he smiled, and took my hands. "Sure, but I wanna tell Max and my dad before we go public" I said. "Of course, and I'm gonna tell my mom, Arthur and Enzo as well," he said. "That's a deal, let's announce it in Australia alright?" I said and he agreed. "I love you Olivia Verstappen!" he said. "I love you Charles Leclerc!" I said and then our lips touched in a kiss.

The next morning I got ready as Charles went to his room to change clothes and take a shower. And I did the same. Then when I had gotten ready, I ate some breakfast and then did some more work on my computer. I had lots of time today, since the race tonight is a night race, so we don't have to leave early. Which is kinda nice sometimes.

A few hours later we arrived at the track. I went there with Max, his manager and his physiotherapist. Unfortunately Kelly isn't here this week, but of course she has to take care of Penelope as well.

We went directly to red bull hospitality, where Max got ready and went over some data and strategies. Then I just sat by myself and enjoyed the view out on the beautiful track. Afterwards I got a text from Carlos saying he wanted to ask me something, so I walked over to the Ferrari hospitality where I was greeted by him.

"Hey Carlos, what's up?" I asked as I saw him waiting for me. "Hey Oli, I have a surprise for you," Carlos said and smiled. "Sure, what is it?" I asked and followed him, as he started to walk. - "I'll show you," he laughed. We walked down to a place I knew, I had been here before..
