Chapter forty-one

Olivia's pov:
January 2022

Days in Australia flew by and it was our last day, tomorrow afternoon both Daniel and I are flying home to Monaco. And then I gotta fly to the United Kingdom later this week since the red bull car launch takes place there.

Today I had been enjoying the last bits of sun and warm weather, since it's way more chilly at home. I had just been working out a lot today, and been chilling at the pool. I had the entire house/ ranch for myself most of the day, since Joe and Grace were at a wedding, and Daniel were hanging out with some of his friends from school. He asked if I wanted to hang with them, but I just wanted to stay home, relax and do some work.

I made myself some dinner which was just a salad with chicken, something that is easy to do, which is perfect since I'm not the best in a kitchen.
After I had eaten my dinner I watched a bit of tv, until Daniel came home.

"Hey" Daniel said after a little while, he had just returned home. "Hey Danny," I said and smiled.
He then sat next to me, and looked at what I was watching. Which were just the vampire diaries. "So I had an idea?" Daniel said. "Yeah?" I asked and paused the tv.
"It's our last night here, and soon it's just work everyday, so.. do you fancy going out tonight?" Daniel asked. "Let's do it, I could use a night out to be honest" I said smiling. "Yes!" Daniel said and smiled big.

We then got ready, I straightened my hair, applied some makeup. And then I wore some skinny jeans, a shiny black off shoulder top, and some jewelry. I also wore a pair of black high heels. After about an hour we were both ready to hit the best nightclub in town, a club we had been visiting a couple times before.

When we got inside we immediately went to the bar and ordered some drinks. Then we just sat there at the bar, drinking our drinks while talking, laughing and enjoying our last night in Australia.

After we had a few drinks and some shots, we walked to the dance floor. The music was really loud, and everyone was out dancing. So we joined the big number of people out there.. We danced like crazy, it didn't look good but that is the funniest part of it. Everyone looked stupid.

"I'll be right back Danny" I said and stopped dancing. "Where are you going?" Daniel asked. "Just to the bathroom, be right back" I smiled. "Want me to go with you?" He asked, we usually go together and then the other person waits at the door so we don't get lost, but it was fine since I knew this place well. "No it's fine, I'll hurry" I said and then left him. We had met a little group of strangers to talk with, they were really sweet and funny. So I left Daniel alone with them while I went to the bathroom.

I walked out of the bathroom and was greeted by a tall male standing in front of me, he was wearing a black hoodie with the hood covering his head and most of his face, so I couldn't look into his eyes.. "Ehm, excuse me can I please get through?" I said, but he didn't say anything, he just stood there looking at me, I felt really uncomfortable.. "You are very beautiful, where's your boyfriend?" He suddenly asked with a rusty voice.. "I don't have a boyfriend," I said. "Nonsense, a pretty girl like you must have a boyfriend" he said and touched my shoulder and hips. I tried to shake his hand off my body but he held on tight. I didn't say anything. "Come with me I'll buy you a drink now!" he said and pushed me a little to walk towards the bar, but I didn't walk with him. "No I'm good, please leave me alone" I said with a calm tone, but I kept feeling more uncomfortable and nervous. "Nah come on, pretty lady, you do what I say," he said. For each sentence he spoke he sounded more and more aggressive. And I didn't like where this was going, I had nowhere to go since he blocked my way, and there weren't any people around at the toilets at that moment..

I didn't do what he told me to, so he got aggressive and pushed me up against the door to the toilet. "Get off me!'" I said loudly. "You go with me right now, or you won't see the light of tomorrow" he said and took one of his hands to my neck, and the other to my side where he could hold me back.. "fuck off right now!" I said and fought back, it was just really hard, but I managed to hit him in his face and a few other places. "You did not just do that!!" He yelled in pain, and then started to hit my face and my body.
