"Romeo and Juliet" lessons are on the board. Everyone's scribbling essays. I glanced at Jasper's desk; empty. I sighed unhappily as the class continued.
In the cafeteria, I sat with Veronica, Angela, and my friends.
They joked and threw things. I was distracted, looking out for Jasper. When I got home, Dad, Mom, and Jasper were waiting for me. "Jasper? Where were you today?" I asked.
"Edward is having all of them leave town," Pai spoke up.
"Wait, what?" I gasped, looking at Jasper. "He blames himself for what happened to Bella," he explained. "He was upset that she got hurt and her being hurt affected him."
"And the others agreed?" I asked.
"I didn't," he shook his head. "I've decided to stay here." I smiled. "And we're going to go back to Rio, until further notice," Mamã added. "Veronica and Angela will join us for a month. That way, we can see our home"
Jasper agreed as we packed.
