Enchanting has two parts: "programming" which is when you place your intent upon the object and "activation" which is setting the program intonation with magick. After a successful activation, your item will burn through the energy that it gained during charging. Some time in the future, you will find that the item may not be working as well or it seems to have a cluttered and negative feeling to it. This means it's time to cleanse and start the cycle again. Light one or multiple candles with the appropriate color correspondence. Hold the object and sense the energy it contains. Visualize this energy streaming into the object. When you feel drained of energy, shake your hands to cut off the energy flow and snuff out the candles.
