Nox stayed hidden under a table as they watched the goopy skeleton make himself a cup of black coffee and some pancakes, it's black tendrils wriggling lightly. They stared at the pancakes and waited for the skeleton to walk away. Their nose twitched slightly at the scent of the pancakes. Once the skeleton was out of the kitchen, they quickly got onto the kitchen countertop and snatched one of the pancakes. They smiled, proud of themself and went to take a bite of the pancakes before stiffening slightly as they stared at the goopy skeleton, staring back at them, a confused expression on his skull.
