The algorithm sucks

Im saying this now, social media has become a sad joke for everyone.

Everyone was doing fun (or some) trends that we're decently safe but then humanity said fuck that lets try to off our selfs, the cinnamon challenge, the penny challenge, the tide pod one too. Anything remotely dangerous was a trend.

And what makes it worse that every fetus basically has their own phone, yeah sure I have a table now but I at least waited until old enough, because early internet access fucks with the mind of a kid, even with parental controls, and "kids" content isn't helping either. Elsagate maybe gone but theres still weird ass content like it all over the place.

And whats sadder that a majority of media is usually made for adults and kids, teenage media is rare to find, it would usually be something from 2008 of an old cartoon that would be considered teenage media, and sometimes I wished it wasn't like that sometimes, I personally love older cartoons of different franchises but theres so much potential for it and it gets thrown away like a store recite after it loses popularity or bad ratings by parents who thinks its "too inappropriate"

Like okay Karen, just because you caught the adult joke in the show doesn't mean you go on Facebook and complain about it

Companies have been canceling good shows with good diversity and boom and hiss pissy Facebook mom  group goes out their way to literally pay the company to cancel it. LIKE WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN DONT WATCH IT DONT RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE YOU CLOWNSS

Another thing, diversity and representation has been so poorly done by SOME companies and artists it feels so bad and embarrassing, especially that one movie by sia. You know the one. (Its called music) heck even in shows like My little pony represent race and issues more than medias today, THERES A WHOLE EPISODE HEAVILY IMPLIED ABOUT RACISM AKA WHEN ZECORA IS INTRODUCED. A SHOW FROM 2010 DEALS BETTER ISSUES AT ITS TIME AND NOW.

And listen I'm all for representing cultures and people of color but when you force it, then its a problem. I'm looking at you HBO'S Velma granted it does have its moments, maybe but its just the 'I'm not star fire' situation, the only decent characters in the show is norvile and maybe fred. Granted he was written with a part that he looked like h#ler but thats a issue on its own.

And recently (as of time of writing this) theres a trend going around where people draw the main cast from mlp as humans and people are mocking other artist who draw pinkie pie black, and plus size and i think its a cool idea go nuts but others think its a funny idea to go on ahead make fun of them for it. And when I see that type of stuff I just scroll away because the negative feed back fills their ego.

They want a reaction don't give them one. Like a saying goes, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. Its a common thing dude, its said that people are bully others over something that they view differently "its a joke" a joke is supposed to make you laugh, not give people a negative reaction buddy.
