Chapter 11: Meeting the ancient heros part 3

"Did you see something dangerous?" Dark Cacao cookie asked his archer.

"No. I was just amazed. Would you look at the size of the trees they have here. I mean from that height you would be able to see the entire kingdom." Caramel cookie said, excitement laced in her voice.

Upon hearing the excited cookie, (Y/N) came up with a fantastic idea. They carefully shuffled back where all the cookies were who upon seeing the human once more, had their guard built back up.

"Hey, uh I was just about to go outside for a little bit. There is a forest right near my house full of trees that I used to climb all the time as a kid. I was hoping I could show you?" Caramel arrow cookies eyes widened, as she decided heard the humans offering.

She cleared her throat before turning towards her king, "Dark Cacao cookie, I believe it is in our best interests if we were to go into the forest with the human. I mean think about how much I- I mean we can learn from exploring the land."

Everyone in the room could tell Caramel cookie was straight up lying but no one wanted ruin her enthusiasm. Not even the stubborn king himself who sighed.

"I suppose it would be good. Plus I want to keep an eye on the human." Dark Cacao cookie glared at (Y/N) making them chuckle nervously.

They knew it was better to not ask the three cookies if they wanted a lift, so (Y/N) watched as all three cookies climbed on the pet wolf and the creature hopped all the way down.

(Y/N) then cracked the front door of the house making sure no humans were sneaking by. When they detected no sense of life (Y/N) quickly ushered the cookies outside and got them towards the back of the house so all 4 were completely out of sight.

Once a good distance inside the forest (Y/N) turned towards the cookie.

"Okay. Here we are."

All the cookies stared in awe at the trees that seemed at least 100 feet tall in their eyes. Along that were the very tall pieces of grass and vegetation.

Caramel arrow cookie hopped off the wolf.

"Would you like to climb one?" (Y/N) asked, reaching their hand out for the cookie to climb on.

Caramel arrow cookie smirked, "Nope. Watch this." The cookie then pulled out her bow and arrow and shot it towards a branch on a tree right by (Y/N).

Attached to the arrow was a rope that the cookie tied around her waist. She then swung onto the base of the tree and climbed up to her arrow using the rope like a rock climber.

Once successfully at the branch, where her arrow was at. The cookie then leaped into the air before successfully landing on top of branch and pulling her arrow out of the bark.

(Y/N) began to clap, "Wow. That was amazing, Caramel arrow cookie!"

The cookie chuckled, "Thank you!"

"I could have done that," Crunchy chip cookie mumbled, not finding the cookies show impressive.

"I only choose the best to stand guard and protect the Dark Cacao kingdom from all the monsters that are outside of our walls." Dark Cacao Cookie said hopping off the wolf as well, "That is why Caramel Arrow cookie is the best and most loyal archer I have."

Caramel arrow cookie fumbled with her arrow, "Thank you your majesty but I wouldn't be in this position if not for you deciding to take me in."

(Y/N) couldn't help but coo at the moment.
This is so adorable.

"You want to see something cool," Crunchy chip cookie shouted, interrupting the moment as he leaped off his pet. "Me and wolf will show you an impressive performance! Right boy!"
