Hm? How did We Get here?

Start from the beginning

“True, but is this the Master Mode version? Is it before the Calamity or After? Hypothetically could we have all died and this just be our sad afterlife?” Quinn questioned aloud to the group.

“Okay guys. Let’s form a plan. All I remember is falling asleep last night to our movie. Maybe this is like the Isekai mangas and we have to either complete the story ourselves or change it. I say, if it is after the Calamity, we still try and save Hyrule, because maybe that is our way out of here? Or if it is before the Calamity, we figure out where we are in the timeline and go and try to save everyone. Because not going to lie, all the champions dying really sucked. All in favor?” Clementine suggested.

Everyone nodded and gave their own form of verbal agreement. Quinn, knowing that everyone was now in agreement, went over and finally picked up the sheikah slate. This caught everyone's attention due to the door rumbling open. Everyone moved forwards as on instinct and out the door. There were sadly no chest or crates in here to break. This made a few suspicious on where in the timeline they were thrown into. Quinn walked up to the next pedestal and put the sheikah slate against it again so the next door would open. A breath of fresh air hit them all. They all let out a small breath of relief. Making their way over they tried, and failed, to avoid the large puddle, before Quinn took an attempt to scale the small incline. After a few seconds of struggling to find her foot holds, she hoisted herself over with a heavy breath. Looking back down, she got closer to the ground and offered her hand up for the next person. One by one, all of them successfully made their way up the incline.

“God, that was surprisingly easy? Did we by chance get stronger somehow?” Dominic asked, a bit confused. He never worked out, so doing that without struggling as much as he did was surprising.

“I’m not sure. I don’t feel different.” Emiko stated, looking herself over to see if she was buff. She pulled up her shirt a bit and sighed. She had no abs.

“Ignoring that conversation, should we maybe go to the Temple of Time? No one is around as far as I can tell. Usually there would be the Old man, but considering he isn’t here, maybe it means that he isn’t dead yet.” Silas stated with a shrug. He only had the abs he came with.
Everyone hummed their agreement before making their way slowly. Quinn, being the slight hoarder she is, started running around collecting things. She giggled in glee when the sheikah slate seemed to dematerialize them into a nonexistent backpack. Using her out of game knowledge, she ran around the current area grabbing as much as she could. However, she was unsuccessful in grabbing the bugs. She wanted to give them to Beedle, if he was around. She followed behind the group, who walked at a slight slower pace so Quinn wouldn’t fall behind. The group eventually made their way closer to the Temple of Time. Oddly enough, there were no monsters that could be found like normal. The area seemed regularly guarded or currently just cleared out. This continued to make the group suspicious. Based on their information, this was most likely before the Calamity. They really just needed to know when.

Silas led the way forward and motioned for the others to be quiet. There could be someone inside or worse the monsters could be there and they currently had no weapons. Unless Quinn found one of the axes, which would be more terrifying than the monsters. He paused as he hit the top of the stairs. He slowly inched his way forward towards the doorway. Seraphina was close on his heels. He leaned a bit in the doorway to look inside. Just to make sure that nothing was in there. Seraphine leaned over his shoulder. The two of them paled before slowly backing away. They frantically motioned to the others to not speak. Clementine tilted his head a bit in confusion about to open his mouth to speak. Seraphina lunged forward and pressed her hand against his mouth. However during this process, she accidentally kicked a pot over and caused it to shatter. Everyone cringed, and looked frantically for direction from either Silas or Seraphina. The both of them froze and everyone else followed in step when they heard some muttering from inside.
They all heard walking towards them, before they started taking off as quickly as they could down the steps. However, that plan failed as Dominic tripped midstep. He was in the middle of the group. Cliche. He knows that. He should have paid more attention, but he had no idea what was inside the Temple of Time and was worried that they might die. Stumbling, he took out basically everyone else below him as he tried to catch himself. This included Quinn, Clementine and Emiko. Seraphina and Silas were fine because they were behind him, luckily. There was loud groaning under him as he felt people complaining. They were all in a tiny pile tangled together from falling down the stairs. Quinn shot Seraphina a look.

“What was inside?” Quinn hisses, their cover blown.
“The entire fucking Champions and the Princess.” Sera hissed back before feeling a presence behind her.

“I can see that.” Quinn hissed back as she stared owlishly at the six people standing behind Silas and Seraphina.

“How did you get up on the Great Plateau and what is your business here?” Zelda demanded. She could be extremely intimidating when the five Champions were standing behind her with weapons drawn and aimed at the intruders.

“Uh well um. We came from the Shrine of Resurrection? We woke up like 10 minutes ago. Uh… Quinn take over.” Clem ordered as he was at a loss for words.

“Uh, why me? Why not anyone else? I literally hate you right now. Anyone wanna volunteer before I tell our story?” Quinn offered to the group hopefully, but her hopes were shattered as everyone seemed to look away from her. Sighing, she finally got up off the group, once the group was untangled from the fall.

“Well. Like stated, we just woke up in the Shrine of Resurrection. The last thing we all really remember is watching a movie last night. Uh wait, you guys don’t know what a movie is. Um, so ignore that. I’ll explain it later. Last night we were somewhere else, and we woke up in the Shrine. By the way, we aren’t from this universe. Like you guys are a part of this huge gaming franchise and like Breath of the wild is considered a pretty good game. We have all played it multiple times. Though, to be fair, we only know a lot about Link because he is the main character.” Quinn started out in a rush.

Link glanced at them confused. His head tilted to the side a bit. The Champions, realizing that none of them had any weapons, put away theirs. They also only put them away because they could tell that these individuals were weak and not trained whatsoever.

“Quinn, Quinn. They don’t understand half of the things you are saying.” Dominic hissed out.
“I know that, but what else am I supposed to say? Tell them the full lore? Tell them that besides Link and Zelda the others die and they can’t do anything about it because Calamity Ganon sends out Blights to the divine beasts and takes over the guardians and causes mass casualties and fatally injures Link which then causes Zelda to unlock her powers which she is desperately using to hold back Calamity Ganon for a hundred years as Link sleeps off his injury and then wakes up with amnesia and the full game is us saving Zelda from the castle and getting his memories back!? This wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t fallen down the stairs. You clumsy brick.” Quinn is huffing by the time she has ended her rant. With that, all of her friends, including herself, paled. Welp, the cat was out of the bag now.
They all hesitantly looked behind them with forced smiles on their faces. There was shock, confusion, and anger running amongst the champions. Revali seemed offended and angry that someone would even suggest he would lose a fight. Link seemed concerned, less about himself, but more about his friends as he glanced in between them. Zelda looked at them with a mixture of shock and confusion as to why someone would say something so cruel about her champions. Urbosa seemed calm, but there was a glint in her eyes that suggested she wanted more information. Daruk and Mipha were looking at each other and seemed confused, but along with Link concerned about the others. Zelda glowered down at them, but let out a calming breath.
“I need you to explain everything in full detail. Right now.” Zelda said as calmly as she could. The others nodded, a silent prayer of thanks being sent out that they weren’t killed immediately.
