Chapter 5: Goodbye for now

Custard Cream lll cookie raised his hand, "High stub?"

"High stub!" (Y/N) said, hitting his hand with their pinky.

(Y/N) then put him on the living room table where everyone was gathered.

Wizard cookie took a deep breath, "Okay. Everyone let's return home."

Wizard Cookie removed the scroll from his robe before beginning to recite the spell. The lights in the house began to flicker and objects around the room began to rumble as a familiar sphere appeared above the cookies.

One by one the cookies were sucked into the portal and just before he was sucked in,Custard Cream lll cookie waved his small hand at the tiny human who waved back before getting sucked into the portal.

Now offically gone, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel their eyes tear up but they quickly wiped them before any fell down their face.

"I guess, I should clean up a bit. I do have school tomorrow and I also have to meet up with them tomorrow. Ugh... I really hope they don't notice that I have been crying."

Back in the cookie kingdom~~~~

All five cookies fell out of the portal once more. This time in a very familiar setting, with a very familiar book.

Gingerbrave sighed, "Phew. It is good to be back!"

"Yep. Especially since I was able to get this penny. I wonder how much I can sell this for?" Chili pepper cookie asked, displaying her new coin.

"Is money the only thing you think about?" Wizard Cookie grumbled.

"I do hope they are doing okay." Custard cream lll cookie said, a worried expression plaguing this face.

"Don't worry, Custard Cream lll. As long as Wizard cookie has that spell we can visit as many times as we like. We could even visit tomorrow if we want." Strawberry Cookie smiled, hoping to cheer up her princely friend.

"Really! That's great!" The prince said, a smile returning to his to his face. All five cookies were about to make their way back to the kingdom when-

"There over here!" A familiar voice suddenly shouted.

All five cookie turned to see three familiar cookies running towards them.

"Thank goodness you guys are alright." Pure Vanilla cookie said, relief present in his voice.

"Hey Pure Vanilla Cookie." Gingerbrave greeted.

"We were visiting the kingdom when we felt the weather begin to change and something magical appeared from the sky. When we could find any of you, our fear was whatever that was took you guys." Hollyberry cookie explained.

"I was going to ask Crunchy Chip cookie to use his wolves to find you guys, but thankfully that is no longer necessary." Dark Cacao cookie added.

"Oh, we're sorry we worried you." Gingerbrave said, rubbing his dough arm.

"You need not to worry friend. As long as you guys are safe," Pure Vanilla cookie smiled, "But I must ask what exactly was that?"

Wizard cookie moved ahead of the group to explain the events of everything that transpired. From finding a spell book to, casting a spell, and Custard Cream lll cookie getting sucked into it and the other following soon after.

Pure Vanilla cookie gasped, "Oh my. That sounds horrible, thank goodness you guys came back safely. But Custard Cream lll how did you survive in such a strange place?"

"Oh, I had (Y/N) with me!" The prince smiled, thinking of his friend from the human world.

"Who is this (Y/N) you speak of?" Dark Cacao Cookie asked.

"They are a human that took care of me when I was all alone in there world."

"A human!?!" All three ancient cookies gasped.

"Did that witch do anything to you?" Pure Vanilla cookie asked, moving in to examine the young prince.

"No they weren't witch. In fact, they don't have magic where there from." Custard Cream lll cookie explained.

Hollyberry cookie's head tilted, "A human with no magic?"

"Yes. They make and do everything by hand. I was really scared when I first saw them but after I got to know them, it turns out they were really nice."

All three ancient were shocked by this friendly magicless human. The only time a cookie encountered a human was when they were first baked into existence by a witch and witches weren't exactly known for their kind nature.

Pure Vanilla cookie especially was surprised by the kind words since he knew the truth of the relationship between humans and cookies.

"Wizard cookie? Do you mind taking us to visit the human. I really want to meet them."

Wizard cookie excited that he got a request from an ancient cookie, nodded.

"Of course!"

Pure Vanilla cookie smiled, "Wonderful. Then we all shall prepare for tomorrow."

Custard Cream lll cookie grew excited, He was going to see his friend once more and based on what he knew, he had a feeling (Y/N) would be excited to meet the ancients as well.
