Identity

"Hey, how come you guys don't do that with me?" we turn to see Natsu still out of it, laying on his stomach. I walk towards him, kneeling down next to him, "You good bro," I say in a laugh. He pushes himself to sit up in a struggle, and he says, "yea," with a smile.

"Now that we're all better, what's the plan?" Wendy asks. "We split up." I stand up. "Natsu, Lucy, and Happy find the orphanage in this town. See if they have a record of Hikari. Wendy, Carla, and Erza, I appreciate it if you ask around the town. " I give instructions, and they nod in agreement.

"Of course," I hear Erza say. "As for me and Grey, we'll go based on what Hikari can remember," I say, looking over to him. A thin silence passes. "Alright then, what are we waiting for?" Natsu says, hiting his hand. They set off shortly after reassuring each other to stay out of trouble. After seeing them off, I placed Hikari down in front of me. "Hikari listen -" I begin as I kneel down in front of her. "I'm not trying to get rid of you, okay? I need you to understand that I'm just trying to help you. Can you do that for me? I know you're young and don't really know what I'm talking about, but can you trust me, please, Hikari?" I ask her. She looks at the ground, slowly looking up to meet my eyes and nods. "Great!" I say in relief, pulling her into an embrace.

I look over and Grey give eachother a nod. I let go, grabbing Hikari's hand as I stand. I look down at her, "Hikari, I know you don't really remember, but I need you to try. Does this place look familiar?" She looks around and holds my hand tightly with both her small hands. She nods, Grey walking to her, "Do you remember where you were before those bad guys took you," he asks in a serious voice. She looks at the ground, and we give her a moment before she looks up and nods again. My face gets serious, knowing we got a lead.

Meanwhile

"There she is, boss," says a one-legged man. His hair looks like he's been shocked by electricity. He limps quickly over to a man with a smoldering look. His stubble fills his face with patches of hair missing. An eyepatch covers what used to be his left eye but only hids the fact it was cut out with a scar reaching across his nose he spits out a tiny pebble he was chewing on before getting up.

Giggles from the one legged lacky fill the mountain top they were on as he pointed towards the port. "Sylva...the heart of the forest," he says in a cold, deadly voice, walking up. "Owari those are wizzards she's with I've seen the one with the pink stripes in her hair, she was on the cover of Sorcerer Weekly she-" He's cut off with a hand gripping his throat. "You speak when spoken to," he threatens.

Whimpers come out from the lacky, "Yes, of course, boss..I-I'm sorry," he says through the choke before he's thrown to the side. He gasps for a breath shaken with fear. Owari turns to look at his men who are bowed before him, "You four...I want that spirit captured and brought to me," he says, turning to his followers. They nod at their orders. "The rest of you take care of the ones in town," He orders, walking past the group of criminal wizzards. They set off immediately.

'All that power will be mine'

His dark intentions cause him to let out a smirk on his emotionless face.

In Town

"No record of Hikari," Lucy says, repeating what she was told walking out the orphanage doors with Happy and Natsu following. "Does this mean she actually might have a family?" Happy says in a bit of a sad voice. "Of course she has a family, that's us!" Natsu says, getting defensive.

"Her actual family, Natsu, that's why we're here to help her find her home," Lucy says. "She has a home at Fairytail, even if she does have parents they haven't looked for her as far as I'm concerned she's part of our guild" He quickly responds while Lucy and Happy frown looking at eachother. They understand what Natsu means.
