in this universe everything is almost the same as in the original Dreamtale story,
the villagers hated and harassed Nightmare, and love Dream
one day the villagers came called Dream to play with him and he accepted but proposed something that irritated the Villagers:
-Can Nightmare come with us this time?
the villagers say that he probably likes to be alone reading books under the tree. -it's true Night

when Dream and some villagers left to play together, others came attacked, insulted and brutalized Nightmare, this one helpless only tried took the hits and the insults of these people.
and every time Dream came home he told him he was clumsy and had stumbled.
Dream started to get worried and tried to ask Nightmare if he had any problem with the villagers or whatever, because he knew, they didn't like Nightmare very much, but Nightmare answered. :
