"The clock. The sound it makes takes me away. I can't explain it" I whispered watching him watch my with those ember eyes. They were quiet different from most colors I seen.

"Now part two of the question" he said pulling the clock out once again. My eyes followed it like I was in a trans.

"My father sent me here because he can't handle me. He did the same to my mother as well" I answered quickly, my eyes wishing for him to hurry up and wind the clock up.

"I see. If you want you can come to me when ever you want to listen to my clock. Like you, the melody sends me somewhere else so I can escape this world" he muttered tucking the clock into his scarf before giving me a smile.

Before I could return that smile I felt a snapping of my magic and turned quickly to look into my room which I left open. Virgo was kneeling holding her chest like she was in pain.

"Virgo?" I whispered walking back in kneeling with her. The girl gave me a pain look before tears began to fall down her eyes. I have never seen Virgo cry never.

"What is it?" I asked more worried then ever. My panicked voice caused the boy next door to walk over to see what was wrong.

"It's your mother. Her magic that connected us to her was broken. Loke went to investigate and it seems your father told them that it was time" she chocked out. With that a light flashed as Lokeappeared. I gave him a stern look as Virgo gripped onto my shirt her warm tears soaking it.

"Is it true" I whispered. He gave me a sad look before shoving his hands into his pocket.

"As soon as he dropped you off he called them. There talk that if you are not any different in three weeks the same will happen to you" he said causing Virgo to tighten her grip on me.

That's when I felt something within me break. Due to this I could feel the swell within my magic. Virgo stepped back after feeling this as Loke tried to step forward. Light began to spill everywhere as the first tear fell. I haven't cried since they took her, and this feeling was too much. My screams followed not long after filling my magic. I could here people running to the room, but they couldn't get no where near me without their skins peeling from the heat of the light.

Then I heard it.

tick......tock.....tick......tock......tick......tock.....

Everything stopped as I turned to see Natsu standing their. His face didn't hold any emotions as he held his clock with one hand and had one stretched out towards me. The heat of my light didn't seem to be hurting him at all.

"Listen to the clock" was all he said and I did just that. That broken piece in me stayed broken but it didn't drive my magic out of control. My hand fell to his as he pulled me up. Virgo and Loke diapered since my magic began to fade from over use. That's when my body decided to shut down as well. I began to fall forwards as the sweet sound of the ticking lull me to a soundless sleep.

"Don't worry I got you" was all I heard as I was lull off into oblivion.

It was quiet. A little too quiet for my running mind. I remember the news that was delivered to me. I remember the pain running to my magic. I lost control for a split second, and then I was saved. The sound of that odd lullaby I have grown to like and yet hate had saved me.

Opening my eyes to escape the darkness that was secreted to be force to stay in. The color white came first due to me staring up at my ceiling. A familiar soreness erupted through out my body. Celestial magic was a beautiful magic, but if it is used a lot the user gets the consequences.

I heard something move to my left. Turning my neck I notice I wasn't the only one in my bed. Natsu was curled up above the covers holding the clock closly to his chest. Lifting my self up I tried my best not to wake him. Where most people would freak out about a stranger being in their bed the thought never crossed me. I was tired, and then again this boy used his clock to calm me down.

The door open causing me to freeze. A woman walked in as I nearly forgot to breath. She was really beautiful to the eye. Long white hair, pretty blue eyes, and a figure of a model.

Natsu woke once she closed the door and groaned.

"I'm sorry if I woke you. My name is Mirajane. I am your appointed therapist as well as Natsu's and a few others around here. I heard what happen today, and I thought it would be best to come meet you before tomorrow when you're suppose to met me" she said sitting on a chair that was in the room.

"Mirrraaaa I was sleeping so good. Why'd you wake me up?" Natsu asked still half asleep. Mira eyes light up at that as a smile spread on her face.

"Your telling me you finally had a good rest without the nightmares?" she asked him. Nightmares? Then again after re looking at the boy I notice he had some eye bags and his skin, which was naturally tan, seem pale.

"Yep" he said grinning clutching at the clock like someone would steal it.

Mira gave both of us a strange look. "I want to try something if Lucy is up to it" she said. I felt a shiver go down my spin as she said these words.

"Your name is Luigi?" he asked interrupting Mira.

"It's Lucy" I corrected him turning my attention back to the woman. "What is it?" I asked her.

"It seems Natsu sleeps better with a bed buddy. I want to try a week of him sleeping in here with you. If his nightmares stay gone, then I may ask the head people if ya'll can keep these arrangements" she said with glee.

If I keep the boy around, then that means his clock will be here too. It may be weird that a boy and girl not in a relationship is sleeping in the same room, but I threw all my morals out long ago.

"I don't mind" I replied causing the woman to jump up in excitement.

"Lucy you don't have to do this." Natsu finally spoke. I turned to see him frowning holding his clock close to him.

I gave him a sweet smile before placing my hand over the one holding a clock. "Think of it like we're a team. I help you sleep, and you play your clock for me when I need it" I said to him. He seem to go in deep thought before breaking out a smile.

"Deal"
