You and the boys been at the mall what felt like hours and right now the five of you all were trying to find a pizza place in the food court soon after getting hungry.
"Found a place, come on guys!" Swift shouted smiling, taking your hand and running ahead.
"Swift! I said I'm hanging out with her!" MC stole your hand back and walked to find a seat so you would sit next to him.
You couldn't help but quietly chuckle at the two's adorable attempts to get your attention.
You all found a spot and you found yourself sitting next to MC, like he wanted to in your oblivion, he kept holding onto your hand as Rebel was ordering the pizza for all of you. Ghost was sitting on your other side as Swift was sitting in front of you letting out a groan of annoyance, you couldn't help but raise a brow at the two.
'Why the hell are those two acting so weird?' You thought.
You shake the question out of your mind as Rebel came back with the pizza which was an all-lovers meat pizza, he had set it down and you all had a slice. While you guys ate the pizza you couldn't shake this feeling that you guys were being watched. You kept glancing around every now and then just to make sure.
You get up, "I'ma go to the bathroom. I'll be back." you say to them.
"Ok, we'll be waiting here" MC said with a toothy smile.
You smirk and pat him on the shoulder before walking off.
Ruthless POV
I finished washing my hands before brushing my hand through my hair. I gently push the door open and started to walk out, halfway back I feel someone bump into me.
"Sorry 'bout that." I say in a blank tone.
The guy was about to say something but then our eyes met.

He just continued to stare at me with that shocked looked in his eyes. I cross my arms unamused.
"Ruthless...is that really you?" Rylie / (ex-crush name) asked.
"The one and only." I replied unamused.
"...I haven't seen you since graduation." He smiled.
I just sighed. He thinks he can act like nothing happened between us. I lost feelings for him since the day he played me.
"I left town." I explained. He took a deep breath before exhaling softly.
"Ruthless listen..." He pleaded in that soft voice I haven't heard in so long.
