• While he previously had issues calling forth the abilities he's gained, he was informed by Zuri that this was probably a result of him subconsciously fearing exposure or utilizing too much power when attacking and even while defending. As things currently are, he's able to use two abilities at a time by repeating an affirmation that Zuri taught him: "I claim it, therefore it will be so." After saying this phrase, he declares the abilities he aims to use and they activate. While it's still a mystery how this phrase works in his favor, Shantrice has surmised that it may just be because of the bond he shares with Zuri, much to Sinead's chagrin.

• Dexter can only learn a set number of abilities. If his body feels the need to provide him with a new one, he loses one as well. The abilities aren't lost in the order of acquisition, so it's always a gamble knowing what will be gone. Because of this, both Professor Baker and Dexter have come to the conclusion that his body is an entity all its own. Quite possibly, it is an E-Faculty Matrix that somehow merged with Dexter as an infant (most likely in the womb), which means his randomized abilities come from the very thing that may have killed his mother during childbirth.

• Due to his love of anime and other Japanese media, Dexter has taken to naming some of his attacks. As a result of his repeated practice, he's learned to manipulate his Fuego-Fists E-Faculty and designated each attack with a different name and attack level.

• Dexter will have a form known as the "Tivad Ijen", which is a phrase from an ancient extraterrestrial language that translates to "Aberrant One". The phrase pertains to a being mostly known as a legend across the cosmos, but Starhusk has believed in its authenticity since he was a child. On earth, this transformation is known as "the Monstrosity", and the proof that one has it is called "the Monstrosity gene". Several Eclipsed beings possess this genetic abnormality-like Dexter and Derek/Impervious for example-but the transformations vary in appearance.

In this form, Dexter will:
♢ Gain a massive increase in muscle mass.
♢ His skin will split open along his arms and across his chest, creating multiple fissures and releasing from them a mix of crimson smoke and a golden-orange thermal energy that randomly flares up.
♢ His hair color will change to reddish-brown-similar to terracotta-but become pearlescent in nature.
♢ His eyes will become entirely gold with no discernible irises or pupils.
♢ His jawline will become more chiseled and his brow will protuberate into a slightly arced shape.
♢ All of his teeth, except for the cuspids, become razor-sharp incisors. The cuspids also become sharper and a tad longer.
♢ His nails change into bronze-colored talons.
♢ He gains a superior boost in speed and strength.
♢ Obtain a change in personality, making him more confident, reserved and sagacious.
♢ Be able to use more E-Faculties simultaneously than in his regular state. However, it will prevent the use of his Dya-Dermis and his Unbound Muscle Governance.

This form, similar to his Unbound Survival Impulse, will turn on and off automatically, which Dexter finds frustrating. However, he'll ultimately grow to accept that some abilities and transformations are only for dire occasions.
