Chapter 3

My eyes widened at her current statement. Why would she be a threat? I cut myself off before finishing my sentence implying that I had intentions to save humanity so why would she classify herself as a threat? Did she realise what I was implying and implied that she was one of them?

My thoughts would swirl around like a tornado inside my very brain trying to process her statement not being able to read her. I can read almost everyone's body language, intentions and overall desires apart from the very young woman standing before me. Something was incredibly off. "I'm sorry to ask you of this but what is it your trying to tell me?" I would question Lucia with my hands in my pocket taking in her every movement. She'd smile and she'd put her hands together. "My my! I'm glad you asked! I was implying that I am a descendant of the water spirit." She would reply enthusiastically.

It all makes sense now. The clothes, her overall appearance and what was currently surrounding me. "The ocean...that's why you have taken me here." I would spit out annoyed. Lucia would look at me with a confused expression still smiling. "Well yes, I am connected to these very waters. Whenever I am in contact with this element it calms me down. That is the very reason I brought you upon this very sight." Lucia would reply.

"Your one of the descendants...one the so-called "blessed beings? Your nothing but a curse..!" I would shout annoyed my eyes beginning to water. "I never want to see you again..get out of my sight. " I would spit out glaring into her very soul. Lucia's eyes would widen her eyes becoming glossy. "Understood sir.." she would turn her back walking off into the woods nature consuming her as she got further and further away. I would clench my fist the hatred growing more, my blood boiling as I stared at the waves crashing down. "why thank you for this "twisted curse you have brought upon this world? I will Pay you my very gratitude by returning the favour.." I would mutter to myself with a smirk.

I would be snapped out of my thoughts by the sudden pain in my fist, and as I glanced down my eyes would widen immediately. Golden flames would burst upon the palm of my hand as I stared in awe. "The "flaming lock, in shorter terms the element Fire." Miss Haruka's words would echo throughout my skull my body became numb. "This cannot be! Curse you, gods! You will pay for this! " I would shout out with anger. "Well, you look at that the gods have a sense of humour. " I would mutter under my teeth. I would begin to calm myself down with my eyes closed trying to control my breathing patterns. As I opened my eyes I froze. "WHAT THE HELL?!" I would shout looking down at the ground 50ft up in the air. "This has got to be a joke..." I would think stunned.

Before I could blink I was already falling to my doom. Well, I suppose this is the end. The gods bless me with 2 blessings then decide to kill me. Typical. Arms would grab me out of nowhere, suddenly I was being carried. The mysterious person would place me on my feet taking down their hood. "How rare indeed. I have never witnessed a person with two elemental blessings before. You're a unique one. My name is Quinn, a pleasure to meet you." The boy would say smirking. "I don't want this! Take it back!" I would spit out. Quinn would look at me with a confused but amused expression. "Suck it up. Your one of now. Besides, it's quite funny indeed. Must be karma for treating Lucia the way you did earlier." Quinn would bite back. My eyes would widen yet again at the name. "Of course your friends. I should have guessed." I would comment sighing. "Well of course we are. It's our fate after all like yours. We are the chosen ones to fight the enemy of humanity. Honestly do your research." Quinn Would say letting out a chuckle. "You're telling me we have to find a mysterious enemy to kill? Yeah, no thanks I will pass." I would reply annoyed.

"Look I understand you're annoyed Azazel but we three have a mission and unfortunately for you, you don't have a choice." Quinn would say sounding understandable. "Alright fine whatever destroys an enemy that's all I have to do. Then the gods can take their damn blessing back right up their arse-" I would comment is cut off by Quinn clearing his throat.

"Look I will explain more to you on the way, but our main priority is to find Lucia at the moment. Understood?" Quinn would say trying to be reasonable. I would nod my head and we would make our way into the forest.
