Aurora Grace, lied in bed contemplating about the phone call she received today. He was out of prison. A person that she left right in Colombia for thee NYPD to—collect him. A person that promised her the Moon and Stars, a person that married her five years ago across the State boarder before he realized his love for her was deep. The way he had her chasing him was bottom line payback. Aurora Grace suffered through enough through his lies and promises.

This call. This call was not what she expected. Her mind was clouded with
his voice.

"Roar." His forehead was pressed
against the payphone outside of New
York famous courthouse. "Hello. Doll,
p-please don't hang up." She sighed staring at their wedding photo. "Please. Please I need you." He cried in between his words. "My fatha is dead. Please."
His body shook with sorrow, his weeping continued. Never has she ever heard him break down like this.

She knew how much his Father meant
to Frankie and so she said. "Frank you have to calm down." Adjusting her
freshly picked Afro, her eyes scanned
the many beaded bracelets she received from her grandmother before she died. Tears blocked her vision reminiscing a shaky, dark brown hand, handing them to her. "Listen to me. Just breathe." She picked the photo up staring at her
Husband's beautiful face, how bright
and alive he seemed in the moment.

"Ok." He said quietly. She teared up realizing the bad news. "Ok." His face was twisted in a deep frown sliding
down until he reached the concrete
floor, he didn't care who saw him,
Carl was across the street watching
the delinquent sadness. "I wanna see you." He said in a choked voice.
"And Som."

"I don't think that's a good idea." She placed the picture back in box full of
her old belongings. She watched her
Boyfriend across the kitchen playing
with Somali, which wast their 4 year
old daughter. "Look Frank, I'll be here
for you. On the phone. Cause I know
how it is loosing someone." She twirl
her finger around the cord of the
house phone.

He didn't hear anything else but her words. "I don't think it's a good idea."

"You don't think it's a good idea?" He gathered himself up clearing his tears, chuckling dryly. He heard noises in the background a familiar sweet voice, his sunshine. "We have a child togetha Aurora. I think it's a perfect idea." He
said with a powerful authority. "She
needs to see me." He ran a hand through his hair closing his eyes, tall frame leaned against the phone.

"No I don't think so." She said knowing that it'll turned into a full fledge argument. "And I'm well aware of that we have a child."

Ignoring that, a nice huff protruded
from his mouth. "Give me ya damn address Roar. I'm huh fatha, and you
are still my wife." Aurora couldn't
believe he still was throwing that title around, she has moved on and he knows of it. Frank didn't care about any of that because sooner or later he would have
his woman back. "Is he there?" He referenced Deon her Boyfriend.
