since she had gained a following on social media, everyone at school wanted a picture with her or wanted to be friends with her or wanted to make a tiktok with her. she felt attacked

her leg was trembling under the table, many people had already walked up to her while she was in study hall, and after every person that passed by, she got more and more anxious

"hey emersyn? do you mind if we take a picture?" one of her classmates asks

"shes not feeling her best right now and would prefer to not take pictures with any more people, sorry" matt defends

"fine" the girl leaves annoyed

"where did that come from?" nick asks astonishingly

"i was getting annoyed by everyone and i could see emersyn was getting annoyed too. the least i could do is tell people to fuck off" matt keeps writing

emersyns leg continues to tremble as she types on her computer. as shes typing, she feels a hand being placed on her knee. she looks down to see matts hand. she looks over at him and he looks back, sending her a small smile.
